Everything was made fresh and tasted beyond expectation. Waiters were very friendly and served us well. The roasted duck was cooked to perfection and the drinks were also delicious. Would definetly recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Asian style cuisine
If you ask for the authentic menu, you will be very happy with the result. Very good Sichuan food. The fired rice is also top notch, I suggest just getting egg fried rice with green onion, no other veggies; it's closest to what you'd get in Chengdu but this actually tastes better than what you would get from one of the cart people making their fried noodles and fried rice there.
The lunch specials are phenomenal. You get your choice of soup - egg drop, wonton or hot and sour. Plus either egg roll or crab rangoons. Then your choice of entree. After tax they are less than $12. What a deal! The Mongolian beef was tender in a rich and tasty sauce. Many places will skimp on the meat and give you mostly onions, but not here. The meat to onion ratio is fantastic. I highly recommend Hunan Gardens. The service is friendly and fast.
