“This is a great store! You feel welcome as you get greeted in. A lot of customers are known by name, and you can tell the owners care and get to know everyone. This place has probably over 1000 different varieties of spirits and if they don't have what you're looking for they'll get it for you. The owners are still chipping away at renovating but it's coming together nicely.“

“The staff was nice and fun, me and my son ordered the seafood gumbo, the crab and crawfish étouffée, and the fried catfish, the gumbo’s flavor was comforting and had a kick, the étouffée was nice and spicy and the catfish’s skin was crispy and the meat was tender. The owner is very nice and personally makes sure you have everything you need. I will come back to this restaurant many times.“

“I can't recommend the Sunrise Cafe enough. Stopped in on a whim for breakfast while on a family adventure and everyone left happy and full. The menu is extensive and everything was freshly made and very yummy. But what really put it over the top was the service! From the greeting at the door, to the prompt attention, and one of the best servers ever! 10 out of 10! We will be back!“

“Had an early dinner reservation with a friend who had never been to 220 Merrill before. It was a quieter time, right before the dinner rush, and we were able to catch up without any large parties or excessive noise. We both ordered the salmon, which was some of the best fish I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to medium, crispy on the outside, and it came with a sauce that perfectly complimented the potatoes and broccolini. Our server was Shannon, and he made sure we had everything we needed and also gave us the space to enjoy our dining experience. Every time we took a sip of water, there was another server going around, making sure our glasses were always full. I'm glad I could show my friend a new place, and we both agreed that we would be coming back so she could experience what it's like at night.“

“I uad ordered a pickup order. Their food is seriously delicious and affordable! A real treat! The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely pleasant. The milkshake machine was acting up. Instead of just making 0excuses and offering a refund or a slush beverage as a substitute, they diligently worked to get the machine to work properly. They never lost their composure or behaved with anything less than total professionalism. It was much appreciated.“

The ambiance made it perfect for a quiet romantic dinner, making the evening even better. Everyone from the floor managers to the Chef checked in frequently on us, and Levi provided excellent service. On the food: everything had a great balance of flavors, textures, and presentation. We started off with bread service, all freshly baked, clam chowder soup and Spanish Octopus, followed by perfectly seared scallops. The Gnocchi Saltado also blew me away with the perfectly tender yet firm gnocchi and woodfire grilled tenderloin tips. For sweet endings we finished with a delicate Banofee Pie and the their Opera cake; kudos to their pastry Chef and team for these as well! We came for a quiet night out, and left with great memories! “This reimagining of Ripples of the Lakes restaurant is a very pleasant place with a great atmosphere for friends, family, and even business dinners. If you remember the old location, the bar has been extended quite a bit many with many more bar side seats compared to before.
My wife and I found the food to be exceptional, although at a very exceptional price for what was provided.
The staff was friendly and very helpful, although I'm not sure all of them completely understood English, as we did have some conversational issues with some of them.
Overall, this is a very nice place with quality food and a nice atmosphere, I would recommend a dinner here anytime if price is no concern.“

“I haven’t personally dined in at Fifth Tavern yet, but my mom brought me home a slice of carrot cake after celebrating her birthday there, and I wanted to share a quick note on that alone.

The carrot cake was very sweet — almost beyond sweet — but still really yummy and enjoyable. I wouldn’t say it’s the best carrot cake I’ve ever had, but it was definitely delicious and satisfying. What really stood out was the portion size: I had about half of what was served to her and her boyfriend, and it was more than enough. Generous portions for sure.

Based on the dessert alone, I can say they don’t skimp, and I’d be open to trying the restaurant myself in the future.“
