“Almost Cheers is a nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and try to learn everyone's names. The crowd is friendly and willing to converse. They've just started offering food again, though it's all deep-fried, but it's good for what it is. The manager is trying to make everything serviceable and the atmosphere less drab than some may find it currently, so I have good hopes for them for the future.“

“We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious. The duck wings, tagliatelle, and filet were so flavorful. Great food, great company and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!“

“I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Oh yeah, I don't drink, but I can vouch for the Coca-Cola tasting good, too ?“

For the people who don't understand- ordering a water and not paying for it doesn't make you a customer-It's not illegal to kick out somebody who is loitering.

This bar lets in plenty of people who need to warm up or use the bathroom. They're real easy to deal with as long as everybody is respectful of one another.

Ordering a water and taking up a seat in a bar that only makes money off of selling drinks and then wondering why you got asked to leave isnt ridiculous But maybe it's why you don't own a business yourself. 🧘‍♀️

He returned quite a while later, to tell us he did not have either of those things.
