“We were working in the area and got hungry. When I called to see if the kitchen was open the man said he was closing but would make us food. He was so polite so I hung up and checked out the menu. Called back within minutes and placed our order. My husband got the BLT dinner (sandwich fries and pickel) and I just got a cheeseburger. It was only 21.00 we can't even eat at fast food for that price... my husband loved his BLT so much he called to tell them how delicious it was. He said "Hands down BEST BLT I've ever eaten. My burger was perfect I asked for well-done (I can't eat pink meat) most people burn it, not this place. It was cooked with perfection and tasted sooo good. I only ate half because it was gigantic but I'll definitely ear the other half tomorrow.. I very rarely eat my leftovers but I will most definitely eat this...Next time we are working in the area we will definitely head out early so we can go sit down and eat... HANDS DOWN GREAT FOOD!!! “Sandy’s has been around a long time. Friends have been going there for years and we finally made it there ourselves. Great friendly service with traditional bar food. “I hadn’t been here before but a friend started working there so I went to visit her! So dawn was our server:) and she was amazing even though I knew she was already! The place is super nice and everyone was super friendly! Everyone stopped to say hi to my 6 year old which I thought was nice, and the manager was super nice as well and checked in with us! The food was AMAZING, I got the chicken lemonado and the village salad and it was sooo good. My husband got the “opa” burger and loved it! “Chicago or New York pizza? I say Detroit pizza. Detroit? Oh yeah, it's good and I dare say, better. Not as thick as Chicago, and not as thin as a NY slice, it's in-between, and what makes it tastier is the composition of the pizza using Wisconsin brick cheese and in a rectangular dish with a buttery, crisp crust (the original pan was a rectangular automobile drip pan - how authentic can it get being in Detroit?). Buddy's Pizza is a chain serving the great pizza and it's popularity is evident by how crowded it gets, even on an early ~5pm Saturday evening, our group waited close to an hour. Fortunately, the bar is well-stocked with local brews served by responsive bar tenders and friendly customers. Our server was professional and very competent - even though it was very crowded, she was attentive and quick, bringing our pizzas and ensuring our drinks were full. The pizzas we ordered were * Detroiter - Wisconsin brick cheese, pepperoni, * Henry Ford - cheese blend, red onions, seasoned ground beef, BACON * Hawaiian - Wisconsin brick cheese, ham, pineapple, and Buddy's BBQ sauce Located on the outskirts of a mall area next to Dick's Sports, parking is plentiful. Not the restaurant's fault, and it was St. Paddy's day after all...and the place was pretty full. Service was good too.We all had bloody marys - delicious and perfectly spicy and tangy. My Dad had the corned beef special - served with cabbage and potatoes - he said it was great. Mom ordered the soup of the day - buffalo chicken - it came piping hot, which is how we like it! She also had the bucket of shrimp which looked perfect. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which is honestly the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've had in awhile - a huge chicken breast hand-crusted in panko and fried perfectly - crispy on the outside with a yummy flavorful sauce and juicy on the inside. Excellent. Fries are always good. I love that they're here and will definitely return. Service was very fast.“

We enjoyed the Mediterranean plank a long time favorite. It's delicious! The little nuggets of fried artichoke are a treat. The olive tapenade and roasted garlic keep us coming back. Services was timely, gracious, fun and funny. I love that a salad compliments your entree at the Bistro. The house salad is simply one of my favorites fresh greens house made dressing and garnished with dried fruit pine nuts and blue cheese. My boyfriend had the crave worthy Caesar. Entrees were Steak Diane a true classic that is perfectly executed and a special of Blue chicken the is worthy of consideration for a permanent spot on the menu. Although we did not enjoy dessert I got some views of others having the pleasure and next time I'll save room and indulge. There is a interesting mix of signature cocktails, full service bar with local craft beers, a thoughtful wine list that covers all the bases from a weeknight trying something new and not spending a fortune to let's make it special a go for a classic Cabernet. “The food came out fairly quick and was extremely flavorful. We got the lobster in the bag boil and add broccoli with the seasoned garlic butter(mild). I wish the lobster was bigger. It was really small for $24. Next time I’ll add an extra one.Everyone that works there wears crocs and they are really young. They give you a bib and gloves which ours initially had someone’s weave in it. We had to send our silverware back. It’s definitely a great spot to take a large group of people to. It was interesting to see the waves of patrons... when we got there at 7 it was nearly full but by 8:15 it was nearly empty and then by time we left at 9 it was packed again. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating.
