“The beer is cold. The food is mostly very good very filling burgers and sandwiches. However even if you're a great tipper like me, you will have to wait for service while while the staff is busy socializing with their clique friends. Just being honest.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking spots right at the entry door.“
“Five stars all the way for Wixom Station in Wixom, Michigan! Our Easter brunch experience was absolutely phenomenal, The variety of all different types of food to Choose from for All different types of taste buds was unbelievable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and ushered to our table. The food? Exceptional! Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our family truly savored every bite. Not to mention, the service was top-notch, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were promptly attended to. It was the perfect blend of good food, good service, and good company. Wixom Station exceeded our expectations and made our Easter celebration truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Had a delicious dinner and great service from Natalie! She gave us some recommendations and made sure our food was acceptable and enjoyable. Appreciated her attention to that! A little chilly sitting out in the area closest to the parking lot.“
“We were in for the first time. Food and service were excellent!! Menu has a southern flair. Ordered the 16oz bone-in Ribeye, w/ smashed potatoes and collard greens made with pork belly. Yum!! If you are a connoisseur of fine bourbon, you won't be disappointed. The selection is phenomenal!! Thought I died and went to Kentucky, lol. Keep up the good work, Charlie and staff!!“
“I hadn’t been here before but a friend started working there so I went to visit her! So dawn was our server:) and she was amazing even though I knew she was already! The place is super nice and everyone was super friendly! Everyone stopped to say hi to my 6 year old which I thought was nice, and the manager was super nice as well and checked in with us! The food was AMAZING, I got the chicken lemonado and the village salad and it was sooo good. My husband got the “opa” burger and loved it! My daughter loved her chicken and fries as well lol but I highly recommend to anyone wanting to check it out!!“
“To quote my sister, "their food has no business being as good as it is" glengarry is the cutest little local bar with great food and service. Everyone is so friendly there, and in the summer they have a really nice patio to enjoy food and drinks outside. They even have karaoke nights and live music!! Great place to hang out, get a bite to eat or have a drink at the bar!!“
“What an amazing place. Granted, the is no indoor seating and table service, but their food is amazing. I am currently eating my way through their menu and have not been disappointed. Enjoyed one of Little Salumi's charcuterie board's Christmas Day. It was gone in 30 minutes.Check them out and enjoy.“
“Is there a such thing as American food? I don’t know. I’d call it plain and as basic two patties of ground beef covered with bread. So, you’re not talking about cooking with fifty ingredients and that’s just fine. I mean let’s face it, American food has stood the test of time thanks to the taste of people who might not want to eat coriander’s spiced salmon with truffle oil and saffron grits. The garage is unabashedly American and they do a great job. A tiny bit of fusion is more than enough. It’s a spotless atmosphere and the service is always good.Brunch is my favorite and those bloody Mary’s are a work of art.“
“I love this place! Always great service, great place to watch the lions with sound, almost all food is amazing :-) you HAVE to get the cheese sticks!!!!! Nachoes are good, hubby liked his burger, Buffalo chicken tenders I won't get again though“
“Great barbecue in Milford with prime bbq not far away this might be judged the bbq city of Michigan! Fantastic fork tender chicken and a great rib sandwich without much fat but so tasty. Service is excellent and the ambience is sedate and casual.“
“Chicago or New York pizza? I say Detroit pizza. Detroit? Oh yeah, it's good and I dare say, better. Not as thick as Chicago, and not as thin as a NY slice, it's in-between, and what makes it tastier is the composition of the pizza using Wisconsin brick cheese and in a rectangular dish with a buttery, crisp crust (the original pan was a rectangular automobile drip pan - how authentic can it get being in Detroit?). Buddy's Pizza is a chain serving the great pizza and it's popularity is evident by how crowded it gets, even on an early ~5pm Saturday evening, our group waited close to an hour. Fortunately, the bar is well-stocked with local brews served by responsive bar tenders and friendly customers. Our server was professional and very competent - even though it was very crowded, she was attentive and quick, bringing our pizzas and ensuring our drinks were full. The pizzas we ordered were * Detroiter - Wisconsin brick cheese, pepperoni, * Henry Ford - cheese blend, red onions, seasoned ground beef, BACON * Hawaiian - Wisconsin brick cheese, ham, pineapple, and Buddy's BBQ sauce Located on the outskirts of a mall area next to Dick's Sports, parking is plentiful. Buddy's Detroit pizzas? Oh yeah - check it out, you won't be disappointed.“
“Danielle is BEYOND incredible. The owner clearly cares about her business, the staff and customers. So friendly and inviting. We had a bottle of wine and an appetizer. We were telling the bartender, Danielle, the we were going for a pedicure and she shows up there…with the credit card we forgot. She drove it to us! Who does that?!? An amazing human, that’s who. 10/10“
“Best burger anywhere, I have to visit anytime I return to the USA. For me this place is a perfectly American experience. Best burger, staff are always great, and what I really like is that is not trying to be nicer than it is…. Its just a great place to hang out and burger up. Ah, and a surprisingly great selection to drink. I rarely do reviews, and havent reviewed anywhere in Michigan before. If I wanted anything else, it would be for the batting cages from the old days to come back! This place is a hidden gem.“
“Went to open mic night on a Monday. Liked the atmosphere a lot. Service was excellent!! Waitstaff was kind and friendly and on top of things. Great ambiance. The prices for a Monday and no happy hour on a Monday was a bit off putting. On average beers were $8 (basic beer). White claws $6.50. Sliders $2 each. Chips and salsa $4. I thought the food was good and decent prices but beers were pretty pricey.“
“We hosted a weekend afternoon event at this location. The staff and owner couldn't have been nicer to work with. The owner, Sue, went above and beyond, such a lovely person to work with. This restaurant/bar is fantastic. Great location, right on the water. Great outdoor space. Highly recommend.“
“Always excellent food and service. We love China Cafe’. I recommend you start the Street Wings and Ahi Tuna wontons, then for dinner you can’t go wrong with Palace Beef, Bangkok Sole, Fire Cracker Shrimp, or Short ribs with Traditional Fried Rice. Great cocktails and wine selections too. Enjoy!!“
“I am just one opinion but I feel the atmosphere of the lions game during playoffs needs marked down. We came here to watch with 8 friends and they didn't allow sound for the game. Came a separate time everything was excellent though. But it was too late to find a new experience during playoffs so that was a disappointment.“
“100% recommend. My favorite thing in the menu? The chicken tenders. Could eat bowls of them with ranch. The salads, pizza, beer, and appetizers were good as well. We've been here a few times and still like going back. Servers are always nice, and the big space makes it nice so it's not a small loud bar. Becoming a bi-weekly tradition in our house.“
“Felt like some southwestern food so started with the chips and salsa. The chips were seasoned adding a little extra flavor and the fire roasted salsa was spicy but not too much. Service was quick and friendly and the beer was cold. The Taco Salad with chicken was very good and really satisfied my run for the border appetite. Can't wait to "come back" and try a pizza. The ones I saw come out looked wonderful.“
“I had the pleasure of visiting the Bistro on a Thursday night. We walked in to a full buzzing inviting dining room. Great music was playing and the decor is well done with artistic treasures catching your eye here and there. I arrived hungry. I ordered chili knowing it'd be quick and take the edge off. Normally chili is not my thing.... This chili was excellent meaty goodness well balanced spices and piping hot. Checked all my boxes for well done. We enjoyed the Mediterranean plank a long time favorite. It's delicious! The little nuggets of fried artichoke are a treat. The olive tapenade and roasted garlic keep us coming back. Services was timely, gracious, fun and funny. I love that a salad compliments your entree at the Bistro. The house salad is simply one of my favorites fresh greens house made dressing and garnished with dried fruit pine nuts and blue cheese. My boyfriend had the crave worthy Caesar. Entrees were Steak Diane a true classic that is perfectly executed and a special of Blue chicken the is worthy of consideration for a permanent spot on the menu. Although we did not enjoy dessert I got some views of others having the pleasure and next time I'll save room and indulge. There is a interesting mix of signature cocktails, full service bar with local craft beers, a thoughtful wine list that covers all the bases from a weeknight trying something new and not spending a fortune to let's make it special a go for a classic Cabernet. All in all you can enjoy the Bistro on weekly regular basis and have great specials or menu staples and never tire of beginning there.“
“Fish/chips/homemade chips/pizza were excellent. Was not expecting the fish/chips to be this good! Ambient is fun with loads of TVs and a great view of the golf course. Good range of beers to select from. Service was top notch. Will go again when in the neighborhood.“
“Kayla is our favorite bartender. She always provides us with an amazing experience. We actively seek out her section in the bar because of her top notch hospitality. For food, my personal favorites are the Queso dip and Birria Tacos. The birria tacos are a must, the consomé is . This dish always hits the spot!“
“Service was great! We went on a night when live music was playing and the speakers were up so loud it was hard to have a conversation.Parking: Parking lot is small and gets filled up quick. We usually park a street down.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the back of the building and an elevator to the second floor“
“We both ordered the Sirlion Steak special. I was hesitant to order from a bar restaurant, but server said it was a premium cut. Cost $27, but it was delicious. Cooked perfectly, fresh green beans not overcooked. Small but great baked potato. Both plates were clean! Lots of good food choices, but we'll have the steak special again.“
“I went to this hidden gem in Farmington Hills for a work event and was impressed with the food and setting. The restaurant itself is set on the actual course with indoor and outdoor seating with great views of the course. The food was also great. We had both American and Greek appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees and everything was super good. This is a great place to go with your family or friends, a secret that is soon to get out!“
“This is an excellent dive. The bartenders are welcoming and speedy. I've literally only had fries here, but they were great. This place feels like you stepped back in time to a better time. They have two pool tables (rarely full) and a shuffleboard table. Strpng drinks at a reasonable price. Overall, excellent place.“
“This is a regular stop for us, but we just had some amazing biscuits and gravy today that I had to rave about! They are on special and not a regular menu item, but I hope they get added! Paired with their house made Bloody Mary it was perfect. Great service and staff as always.“
“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.“
“They have a bunch of games you can play, cornhole, beer pong, jenga, a punching bag machine and more. Make sure to call ahead of time to see if they are hosting a cornhole tournament, they were the night we went and the bar tenders were super busy. Overall, cool place, I'd go back.“
“Great food and great staff. Began going to Sparkies 2 or 3 times per month about 8 or 9 months ago. With the exception of one visit, which I spoke to management about, every visit has been excellent. Typical restaurant noise, a little loud for people that are hard of hearing during their busiest hours, but not any worse than any other place around. Everything we have tried has been exceptional. Our favorites are the Fish and Chips and the Jambalaya“
“The ambiance of this locally-owned family joint is awesome. Whether you want to have a nice family dinner or a cocktail with a local (or by yourself) at the bar, you're in good hands. The customer service is outstanding and the food is on the up & up. I ordered this "special" dinner for my own diet purposes and these are probably the best veggies I've ever had in Milford. They were very accommodating to my requests. If you're passing through town- give it a try. Often live music & fundraisers too! Highly recommend. This place gets 5 stars from this Yelper.“
“Kinda busy but our waitress did a decent job. The open faced tuna sandwich was okay, though uninspired. As a pescatarian with string vegetarian tendencies, choices were limited. The veggie hummus wrap might have been better for me. If you like meat, there were many more choices. I was hoping for the Founders KBS but that tapped out. The Bells Big Hearted was surprisingly nice for someone that avoids IPAs. This one doesn't have the classic IPA bitterness/hoppiness and I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was great with a comfortable casualness I really appreciated after a long work day!“
“It was a buffet dor breakfast. $18 worth. I know food prices have gone up, but that seemed a lot. If you get it as part of your room than it's not bad. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grits and waffles were the hot food. Some cereal, yogurt, baked goods, and fresh fruit like any free continental would have. Staff was friendly and refilled.“
“Love this place. Across from Walled Lake. Karaoke is great on Friday nights but very crowded. It's a bar type of atmosphere.Parking: It depends on the day. During the day it's fine & early evenings. Nights when things like Kareoke are taking place the lot gets crowded & you have to find other parking close by.“
“This summer I threw a surprise 70th birthday party for my wife for about 24 people. After checking a dozen or so places in the area, I decided on the Dukes and I couldn't be happier about my decision. They catered quickly to our every request and gave us a whole room to ourselves. They let us bring in our own decorations and we were all able to stand up, move around and mingle with each other. Besides that, the food was great, the prices very fair and the manager went out of her way to make sure we were well served. If you're looking for a place for your next party, I strongly recommend the Dukes of Highland. Ken W.“
“Food was great, service was okay and prices are reasonable. Fish and chips were wonderful and you get you money worth !!! Also, it has a welcoming atmosphere and the servers / bartenders are very nice. I recommend stopping in and saying hi !“
“It is one of my favorite places to eat and that is why I have no hesitation in recommending it.But unfortunately the experience that a group of friends and I had on Friday, March 22, was very bad. The waiter named Miguel served us and he was very rude to us, literally, he silenced my friend when she wanted to order for one of my friends. Later, when ordering takeout, he yelled at us because he had already closed the account. The stress that his anger and attitude caused us got to such an extent that we were afraid to ask him for more things since he always said “assssh, oh my God.”Ah, but when it came time to ask for the bill, well he changed his treatment and included an 18% tip, which for us, wasn't fair to give him.I hope you can talk to this man and recommend that he have a better attitude since for these reasons, many people prefer not to return.Obviously I will not stop going, but what is certain, if this Mr. Miguel touches me, I will ask that he not attend to me.“
“Front staff was a little short tempered and fairly rude this visit. We just needed to seat 5 people at the non high top tables as we had one person who was handicapped joining our party. Waitress was pretty good, and the food was decent.Parking: When super busy parking is a little tricky but right next to Busch's grocery store, so can walk a lil bit if needed. They have several handicapped parking spots.Kid-friendliness: Our waitress was ok with my autistic daughter.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“This is the somewhat still New Mexican restaurant in South Lyon. I had the chorizo and chicken enchiladas. Along with a carafe of margaritas. The food was exceptional. The enchiladas were actually filled and were loaded with cheese. The salsa was flavorful with a slight kick. I like a little spice and could use a little more here but the typical person will like this level of spice. The drinks were good. There are unique margaritas on the menu. We had the Michigan margarita which has a cherry infused simple syrup in it. There is also a full selection of classic cocktails. Expect to pay between $10-$15 for a cocktail. The girl behind the bar, Cali, was on her first day alone behind the bar. She did well and is on her way to becoming very efficient behind the rail. We did our typical eating at the bar. Tonight the bar wasn’t too full but it is a Wednesday evening. Update, we also had a pomegranate breeze and a tequila old fashioned. Both were good and I added pics.Overall the food and drinks were good. We will definitely come back. This is easily one of the best Mexican places in the area.“
“Our go to date night spot! Food is always consistent and delicious, my favorite is the Caldo de pollo. It's full of rich, yummy broth and lots of chicken and veggies. Today I ordered Pollo de San Jose and the bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. Both were so flavorful and filling, I will be ordering each one again on a future visit.“
“The industrial decor and open floor plan lend themselves to a very welcoming environment. The staff are top of the line. I could not have asked for better service. The food is absolutely amazing! I'm partial to the Goodfella pizza myself. They have the best selection of beers that I have seen within quite a radius. The staff are very knowledgeable about the drinks and are happy to answer questions and recommend a drink to suit your tastes.I highly recommend that you give this place a try if you are in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs are welcome! No issues with stairs. There is a ramp from the parking lot and that is all.“
“I have lived in Waterford for many years and never heard of this place until last week. I was told that they have the best hamburgers anywhere, I agree. In the staff was fantastic given the crowd. Definitely kind of put this on a habitual visit list.“
“Great gatsby burger and fries, and the wings are excellent. They were at least two cooks down and the huge influx of people from the golf show across the street had them jammed up. So, it took awhile for our food. But the bar tendress was great and had a generous pour. I would recommend.“
“If you're looking for good bar food, you've came to the right place! They have booths as well as bar seating. There were multiple tvs to watch sports games. They have specials every day of the week. We went on a Saturday and got a $15 bucket of beer as well as 20 boneless wings for $20.We got the everhthing stix to start! OMG, they were so good! Fluffy and doughy, buttery on the outside, with everything seasoning. They served it with garlic cream cheese which was the perfect dipping sauce! The wings were great, and the sauce was even better! We got the sauce on the side and got Buffalo ranch, ranch, mango habanero, and Carolina BBQ. Our favorite was the ranch and Carolina BBQ. They all had great flavor! The fries were lightly seasoned and crunchy. Our server checked on us frequently and was very attentive!“
“A group of friends and I went to this location last night and the service was terrible. 40 mins for a beer, over a hr for our food. Speaking of food... some of the group complained that it wasn't prepared properly (undercooked). Also they completely forgot my order. The whole table was eating but me smh. To top it all off, they charged us a extra $10 per person for a fight we had no interest in watching. The flyer on the door said it's a cover (never seen a cover at Twin Peaks mind you) for those who are seated after 9pm. Our party was there prior to 9pm and we were basically told that we'd have to pack up and leave or pay the "event service charge". I talked to the manager several times and he was unwilling to wave the fee no matter how bad our service was. I frequent Twin Peaks atleast once a week, and this was by far the worse experience I've ever had. They will never get another dime of my hard earned money.“
“I am Mexican and I approve of the molcajete, it is very delicious, it has a lot of meat, the authentic tacos are very well served and the piña loca is also very delicious. Personally, I didn't like the margaritas but the micheladas are delicious!! The service is good and if you save your ticket they give you a 10% discount on your next visit. Ask for the spicy tomatillo sauce, it is very delicious for those who like it spicy :)“
“Came here with family for the live music, which was excellent and made for a lively, fun ambiance. The space is really nice on the inside with plenty of tables. This is a stupid thing but I loved how most of the tables had outlets next to them. As a remote worker it's something that I pay attention to because I'm always looking for spots to work to get out of the house. We ordered some food and drinks for the table. The chips and salsa/guac was good but nothing exceptional but The snack board was fun and plentiful. I loved the pretzel bites and the mustard they came with - so yummy! The selection of beers was decent and I liked how they offered flights. It would have been nice for them to have some sort of "recommended" flight since I wasn't sure what the most popular beers were. I had heard great things about the lemon cider but unfortunately they were out of it for the day. I would definitely come back to try it. Overall this was a nice little afternoon! It's a bit far for me so I likely wouldn't come back frequently but if I were in the area I would absolutely stop back in.“
“I gave the food 4 stars because the water has a unpleasant well water taste and the dip for the coconut shrimp is like flavored water. Coconut shrimp needs a thick sauce for a dip. It would also be nice to have a little bread basket since it took forever to order our meal and it wasn't served in a timely fashion.“
“Golfers, elevate your day at Whispering Willow Golf Course with a visit to Tin Cup & Grill! ?️♂️ Savor the must-try stuffed cabbage, explore the extensive beer options, and enjoy a full bar, patio, and Keno for added fun. It's the perfect blend of sun, fun, and golf excitement. #GolfersParadise #StuffedCabbageDelight ⛳??“
“I almost didn't come here because I read the reviews, but I decided to come here on a whim and man I'm glad I did. The bartender was kind and heavy handed to say the least. the food and drinks were very reasonably priced and it's undeserving of such reviews in my opinion. It's nothing fancy, but that's not something I was really looking for. 10/10 would go again!“
