“Delicious and flavorful food. Friendly staff. Mexican style/street tacos flare. Positive energy vibe, plenty of seating available. I had the California burrito and asked to add cilantro and had no issues, in fact the person taking the order loaded me up with additional toppings and sauces that the burrito was filling enough for 2 meals. Also had the trio sampler (guacamole, cheese, salsa) with chips. Very filling. Great flavor profile. Will definitely be adding this to my list to return again.“

“Had carry out for the first time since the new ownership. Sadly, a little disappointed. I ordered the the Zip Sauce Alfredo with chicken .It was really good! However, it didn't have much chicken in it at all the the garlic bread that it came with was soggy. My wife got the "Double Fajitas" with steak and chicken. The steak was pretty bland and there was barely enough meat for 3 small fajitas. My oldest daughter got the Enchilada Dinner and really enjoyed it. Great flavor! My Youngest Daughter got pancakes and bacon. Unfortunately, they bacon was a bit undercooked and rubbery and they forgot the syrup. We love to support local business and We have gone to the restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. So I am hoping this is just some of the early "bumps and bruises".“

“You come here for Tacos! They are the best they have the common Mexican ones like beef tongue, head, loins, pork carnitas, birria and much more!We def loved the Tongue tacos and the shrimp fajitas i got were delicious, the lime chia water was slightly sweet and fresh.Waiter was rly quick and kind!You can buy real yummy mexican candy for good prices, they sell meat there too and other mexican groceries.We will def be back for Tacos!

I know there may be times Alchile can get really busy (as there are a lot of us that go regularly) and there may be times you may have to wait longer than you'd like to get a seat (or your food/drink) but know that the staff works really hard & truly cares about each customer and you will NOT be disappointed! They are well worth the wait“

“In the places that I’ve been to in Pontiac (which is quite a few) this has been the best place to eat that I have found and their pricing is competitive with other local restaurants. This is my go to place and everything I’ve had here has been enjoyable and never let me down. Quality produce and meat, everything tastes fresh and well cooked.“

The only thing that made me take a star away is the overall condition of the place. The front has an pergola that has been under construction since before COVID. It appears that the plans for it never materialized. The main entry door has been broken for the last year or more. They should really do something about it before someone hurts themselves with it.“

“Extremely large menu, almost too large. Family owned and portions are enormous. We had a large party and they accommodated us well, food came out fast. While the food wasn’t top notch, service was on point. Decor is a little dated, but plenty of parking and fast service trumped everything else.
