“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.“

I've been in Mexico, have Mexican friends, and eat in Mexican restaurants at least 4 times a month. You will NOT find better than Aztecas in Macomb County. This place is even better than the establishments in Mexican town Detroit.“

“OMG! The food is delicious! Authentic Mexican food. I had the 2 taco dinner, chicken, and it was flavored so well, just the right amount of spice and even had lime on the side. It was fantastic. My husband had the Burrito Supreme and it took up the whole plate! He had fork the burrito and stuffings into his mouth. The salsa and queso were so good with nice chuncky veggies in them. We live almost an hour away and we will definitely make the effort to come back!“

“The food was delicious. Had the beef and the carne asada tacos with chips and guac. First, these chips are store-made, flavored and delicious. Corn tortillas, which I love, for the tacos that are fried or heated, so not like a the other restaurant corn tortillas. It is best to order online or have a little patience in-person. “While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“First time trying it and let me say I regret not trying it sooner. I was a bit hesitant but Chris was extremely helpful and made so many great recommendations. I had the quesadillas (chicken), chips and queso. The dessert was over the top. When I say I am not typically a big eater I tried some of everything. The best part the servings were ample enough I have left overs for a day or two. In addition to Chris the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be back. Chris needs a raise for doing an amazing job!!“

“This place slaps! The people who have left reviews saying the food isn’t authentic are idiots. Look at who’s working here, you know it’s authentic. They have a great happy hour from 2-6 and 9pm-close, their margaritas are the best in metro Detroit! All fresh juices, no bottle mixes, seriously so good! $10 fresh made margs for happy hour can’t be beat. And our service was so sweet and attentive. They have a really nice patio too with cute pink umbrellas. Give them a visit!! The happy hour Mexican pizza was huge!“

“Absolutely crazy place in the best way! Such a unique Mexican-Mediterranean fusion menu, and everything we tried was delicious. Really creative combinations, bold flavors, and very generous portions.
I honestly didn’t personally enjoy the Mediterranean stuff as much (except the Shawarma taco which was amazing) and prefer the items that had Mac n cheese, nacho cheese, and hot Cheetos in them. But that’s just personal preference.
