Don’t miss out on this authentically delicious taco joint. I hope my entire friends list sees this recommendation cause if you’re friends with me… you need to try this place!“

Vibes inside give corporate sanitized no real vibe at all which is kind of awful, so I'd say more of a take out place. Soda fountain out of order, which is also terrible. Oh and the "chips and cheese" is not queso it's literally nacho cheese like come on man that's gross.“

“Amazing new spot in downtown Royal Oak. Tacos and guac were so good. More authentic than the other Mexican restaurants in town, and the vibe is more upscale and relaxing. “Visited O.W.L. early today as it was the only dine in resturant open for breakfast.

The breakfast menu is small....and the food was hot, fresh, flavorful AND, delicious. We ordered bacon with egg and chorizo with egg breakfast sandwiches.

Sandwiches were generous, and prepared with care. Make sure to ask for eggs well done if you don't want runny egg yokes with your meal.

Offerings of fresh pineapple and watermelon juice are refreshing breakfast thirst quinchers if you're looking for a natural morning pick me up!

I also paid attention to the chef....she continuously put on fresh gloves when handling food and beverages.....this was very important to me.

The chef/server and staff are pleasant and very accommodating!

We will return, soon, to sample their taco options!

“Beautiful interior and exterior. The patio out front allows for outside drinks. The interior is clean! The staff was amazing during my first visit. Fun and welcoming to conversation. I got the maple wings and street corn (elote). I could eat that corn all day. So good!! Decent selection of mexican beers and some American alternatives. My second drink was a cocktail. It tasted as good as I expected :)

I accidentally double tipped. They add 20% gratuity to your bill. THEY HIGHLIGHT IT ON THE RECEIPT. I DID NOT SEE IT. I wasn't looking. I just looked at the total and made a second 20% tip. I AM NOT UPSET. I just feel stupid lol.

Parking: The parking lot across the side street is for the grocery store only but I'm not sure how strict it is. I went on a Saturday around 4-5. Livernois was packed for parking. I found a spot of the side street a few businesses away.“

I had the quesadillas (chicken), chips and queso. The dessert was over the top. When I say I am not typically a big eater I tried some of everything. The best part the servings were ample enough I have left overs for a day or two. In addition to Chris the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be back. “Extremely large menu, almost too large. Family owned and portions are enormous. We had a large party and they accommodated us well, food came out fast. While the food wasn’t top notch, service was on point. Decor is a little dated, but plenty of parking and fast service trumped everything else.

“My 45 th birthday party, we had six people and only 5 got food, we explained very well before ordering to the waitress that my husband was allergic to onions and we made sure the burritos had no onions per the waitress, so he got the beef burrito and his food came with ours and the waitress held out his plate stating that all dishes had onions in the recipes which is not true, we ate here before with no issue.To not argue and cause a scene he didn't eat and we went to get him food after. We had to call for service.with hands in the air for coffee, more chips, more water. There was only one waitress, but there were only 3 tables with customers. The food was good, but this place is so understaffed and the staff doesn't understand English well enough to accommodate special requests. I wouldn't come again unless I called for carry out an hour prior and make sure there are no special accomodations to your order. Mr. Miguel's on 11 and Ryan will be our always favorite place to go after this episode tonight.“

It is fresh, hot and perfectly made with really good chicken. “One of my go to menu items is the Shredded ChIcken burritos with rice and beans. After sinner, of course I must order the fried ice cream. Lol. Yummmm! One of my go to favorite meals. I have tried quite a few of their menu items, all have been really terrific. Love the hot, fresh, daily made, endless basket of chips and salsa. They have mild salsa, hit salsa and e en hotter green salsa. We stayed for several drinks, of Course you cant just have one margarita. Hehehe. ???. How can you not have more than one margarita?? Lol. Right!! Prices are very reasonable and service is always excellent. The Restaurants is larger and can accommodate many. It has a bar side seating as well as a family friendly dining area. This is my go to Mexican place. If I can’t find anyone to go with me when I’m craving Mexican food, I will go here alone. I’ve been there many times alone for dine in as well as picking up a carry out. Try it, you will like it.“
