“maybe I just came at a bad time but there was one one person doing all of the waiting bussing cash taking and carry out. needless to say she was busy. the food was edible that's about it. salsa had no real flavor, that is if you can flag down the incredibly busy waitress to bring you some. anyways won't be back.“

The one on 9 mile in Hazel Park. The one on Greenfield in Southfield. They all gave me an old chalupa. The environment was cool until some lady pulled behind me like she was about to up the blower on the order taker because something went wrong then they started arguing. But...??“

“I enjoyed a big lunch here with a number of my coworkers. They were able to accommodate our large group without issue and we were served quite quickly. Service was excellent all things considered. I had the corn quesadillas, and it all tasted great. The tortillas had great fresh corn flavor. The menu was expansive and there’s a bit of something for everyone on it. Mi Pueblo made a great lunch.“

“Hands down best steak taco/burrito I've ever eaten. It's worth venturing to. It's pretty inexpensive too. Spanish is spoken and cash only. It's easy to miss because it's in the parking lot behind tall fences that say farmers market right on the corner of Livernois and Toledo street.“

“Chips were thicker and crispy. Salsa was towards the mild side and chunky. My chicken burrito was excellent, very large, tender with beans, rice and salsa. My partner’s chicken quesadillas was exceptional, thick with a nice layer of fillings. Seating is limited with a couple tables and some counter type seating. Food was made fresh, hot, and overall a very good value. Only real downside, no Margaritas!“

“Let me start by saying this place is fantastic. We went in group of 7 on Cinco De Mayo. Wait time no more than 5 minutes! Every last staff member was so pleasant & helpful, the prices are very reasonable, very clean place. The food 10 stars hands down. To top if off you get a homemade HUGE cookie for dessert. “The food here is AMAZING! I have been coming here for years & they never let me down. The enchiladas suiza & the Mexican sandwich are my favorites, but all the food is large portions & fresh. I will say on there tacos they do put grilled long pieces of onions instead of the traditional chopped up onions & cilantro. Just something to be aware of, different not bad at all. The restaurant is clean, bathrooms are always clean, service is always swift & fast. Good for date night or families. Pricing makes sense as the portions are very large. Love Los Galanes.“

“This is a great place to authentic Mexican dishes. I have ordering from this taco truck for years and drive for miles just to get there, as it is not close to my home. I get the steak quesadillas, which are more like steak soft-shelled tacos to me. They are very filling and come with a variety of vegetables as well as sour cream for toppings. I have recommended El Parian many times and will continue to do so in the future. It is a real treat for me!“

“I normally don’t write reviews, but after just spending money on a take out order that they didn’t include the chips I ordered then said that I didn’t order them, which I did because I ordered a large mild salsa. Why would I do that? so the manager , Sam, told me I could come back to the restaurant, but he would have to charge me for the chips that they made a mistake on. And even worse was, I had to wait for them to make my tostada, and when I got it home, the cheese was not even melted. It was just placed on top of the beef with no tomato or lettuce and the cheese on the burritos was cold and like rubber. I Will not go back there. The food and service was terrible.“

I am a hot fan... it may be a little spicy for some. This place has been here for 43 years. Well they are in a new building. They were a few over, but there was a fire and now in a new building. What drew me in was the pictures on how they hook up the tostadas. To my surprise they actually have the goooddd tacos. MmmmmGo bless/support your local, small places. “Options for late night food are very limited but thank God I found this place!!! Authentic Mexican Taco at 2 am is rare and this place delivers.. I've tried the burger and it was ok but I didn't get lettuce so maybe that's why lol.. I've tried the chicken fried chicken sandwich and must admit it's tasty but a very small portion of chicken. Fries weren't great but that taco was amazing!!!!!!!! Different meat for the tacos depending on the day of the week. Don't bother trying to call, nobody answers ??‍♂️ atmosphere is nice but the place is small and they get packed pretty quick. Also that air conditioner is way too cold and the vents on the duct work are way too many. Maybe their way of getting you out faster lol“

“Pollo Chapin is a fantastic little lunch or dinner spot in Southwest Detroit. If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“
