“What a nice place. I took the family out for late breakfast, what a busy place but very efficient. Polite quick service, great team of waitstaff, and the Owner, Randy stopped by our table for a nice conversation and explained some of the cool artwork and murels on the wall. I highly recommend Oskar Scots as your first go to family dining resturant in West Michigan. We will be back for sure.

“My girls and I tried out Anna’s House in Byron Center this week as we’ve been anticipating it’s opening all year! It did not disappoint. The girls loved the pancakes and waffles, I enjoyed the avacado toast and our waitress Kyra was very friendly and helpful! The girls say 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“First time my boyfriend and I ate local, AND First time in GR!!! We really loved the servers, they were just really sweet, humorous, and caring. I wish we lived closer because the breakfast tasted fresh and delicious, but this was just a really amazing treat. Thank you so much to the staff and cooks, you all do an amazing job! Please keep it up so my boyfriend and I can make this a tradition to come here!!!!“

“We enjoy the quality and preparation of the food. Today we enjoyed a classic Reuben and an Irish Benedict. Both yummy! The restaurant was almost empty at lunchtime. We were so surprised and talked with two of the waitresses. I hope business picks up soon for you all!“

“We just flew into town to see old friend recently diagnosed w cancer. My wife’s been sad. We lived here 10 yrs ago. Sundance was right off the plane. We were lucky to get Rayne as our waitress. She brought joy and the best corned beef skillet and Rueben. A perfect and beautiful start to our stay!“

“It is exactly what it should be. A greasy spoon diner. We go there a couple of Sundays month. Food is good, service is always fast, error free and kind. The 3 star for atmosphere is just cuz it is not a place you go to for for atmosphere. You go to get a hardy breakfast and you are in and out. Definitely a solid breakfast spot.“

“Whenever we go by, we stop. The staff is personable and attentive, the coffee and teas are great, and we especially enjoy the treats. It is not the sterile, mispronounce your name, too hip to be pleasant vibe that many other shops have.“

“For the amount of food that you get, it's definitely worth the money. While the exterior of the building would benefit from a facelift, inside has a very personable vibe with friendly staff and breakfast foods that hit the spot. My partner and I always look forward to coming here!“

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! “This was my sons choice for brekafast for his 13th Birthday and it was the best choice! Seated quickly, greeted quickly, staff friendly and smiling, literally was a great visit. Our server was Sergio, and watching him interact with other customers and us, he was a fast efficent and kind! Hands down probably the best service ive had in a LONG TIME. We will definitely be back 😊“

“The new beginnings is a breakfast restaurant. Food was amazing. The restaurant have ample space and decoration is old fashioned but comfortable.
Overall good experience, if you are fed up with mediocre food from consistent franchises give it a go, you won't regret it“
