Wine tasting and then dinner is always wonderful here. The service is outstanding and we are always treated very special. Servers are there and check on you but are not over the top - always there. Our server, Micah (sp) is so attentive and knows the menu inside and out. The plates are stunning when presented. Spouse has food allergies and she has never had any problems eating here. Their gluten free (allergen) menu is full of great choices and everything tastes great she says....
We are frequent guests at Coopers Hawk (2-3 times a month). Normally I would rate this restaurant 5/5, for food and service. But last night they were off. The restaurant was quite busy, so that may explain the wait for our entree's (approximate 45 min wait). One of our dining guests ordered a filet, med-rare, the steak came out well done with a burnt char on the outside. They offered to cook another filet, which they did, unfortunately it came out after everyone else had...
We were celebrating my husband's birthday with our adult children. He has a severe shellfish allergy so I appreciate the care taken from noting it on the reservation to the front desk to the waitress to the manager and kitchen! Thank you!
