“We had my daughter’s surprise birthday dinner at A plus yesterday. The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. Thank you to our server and the staff for making my daughter’s birthday feel so special!“

“It was a very enjoyable dining experience as always at this raw bar. Great selection of fresh oysters. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. Oyster stew was good to the last swab of my bowl with Muirs’ homemade bread. Never made it to an entree. Service was above and beyond as always. Last night restored our faith in dining out. Absolutely none of the food or service issues that we seem to incur almost everywhere lately. We will return soon. A special thank you to Calli and the other raw bar shuckers.“

“Corner bar fan I am. RUMOR HAS IT they are putting serious serious effort in bringing back Karaoke as well as another pool table and league interest in Darts/Pool. We all know a smaller Corner bar that serves atmosphere and food and cold beer. I don't work there no, I has spent 35 years working in Bar/Club entertainment business and I see some pretty cool stuff, I've seen the personality of the place....it ain't dead and I bet they prove it!

But today there was a server(not even ours) who went out of her way to make my young sons(2&4) feel special. With a random act of kindness. When I told my son that I didn’t have any cash for the duck claw machine, she overheard and had pulled a pair of singles out of her book for my sons to “win” a duck. I didn’t accept it, because we have too many toys as is, and my wife generally keeps a little cash(which my son begged from her). I didn’t her name, but I hope her manager sees this. However, tonight it was disappointing when we went to use a birthday coupon and we were informed that it is only for dine in purposes only. I was told by the bartender that other people have complained since it is not on the coupon that it is only for dine-in purchases.“
