Always like to support a local small business and we have visited Bake n’ Cakes many times. Anything out of their counter has always been very good! But we ordered a custom cake over the phone recently. While placing the order we gave a few details about what we wanted but apparently that is where we went wrong. When the cake was picked up it looked like it was done by a child. There was no color, no flowers, no decorations. The customer service was horrible. The staff member advised us that this is exactly what we ordered. She explained that if we wanted flowers, we needed to specify that when placing the order, we needed to tell them exactly how many flowers, what colors and every detail. Never have I had to do this when ordering a cake from other places. I could go on and on but the overall theme here, is the cakes are good, don’t waste the money ordering something over the phone, just get a premade item from the counter and don’t expect high quality customer service. A simple apology goes along way!

I took a sketch my fiancé made designing her own customized themed birthday cake to Bake N Cakes. The service was wonderful and pleasantly compromising. The employee I showed the sketch to was enthusiastic to capture the vision of the sketch. The price was reasonable and the quality of the cake overall was moist, fresh and delicious. It came out absolutely spot on to the sketch. A big thank you to team that helped on this cake and thank you to bake and cakes from me and my fiancé ! Definitely recommend ??

Called once, I was told to call back tomorrow because they were too busy. The lady was also rude about it, presumably because she was stressed, but it was fine, whatever. Called back the next day, and they told me the person who takes orders is on break, call back later. Called later that day. They said no one was there to take orders. For a cake. From a bakery. The real question is why are there people who can't take an order answering the phone? I'm not someone who leaves bad reviews, but come on, this is ridiculous.

Let me first say I LOVE SWEETS!! My husband bought me a cheese cake from here and I just have to say (sorry) it was HORRIBLE!! Not only was it CHEWY (?) but there was absolutely no flavor to it. This use to be a great bakery. WHAT HAPPEN TO U ???. So very disappointed in the quality of this cake. Definitely going to find another bakery!!!

My husband bought me a cheesecake from here for my bday and I have to say it was the most disgusting facsimile of a cheesecake I ever tasted. It was not only chewy but it tasted stale. This was such a disappointment because this bakery use to have really tasty treats!! WHAT HAPPENED. I don't think even a trash panda would eat this!!!! If this is an example of the food they are producing run not walk on out of there‼‼‼‼

I wasted time money and effort in presenting a surprise custom birthday cake for my wife from Bake n Cakes, only to return it the next day. Jennifer had taken my order for a custom birthday heart shaped cake made of red velvet with chocolate frosting. We ended up recieving a Chocolate frosting over chocolate cake...when returning the cake was told by the manager that the description didn't state red velvet, i replied that there was chocolate on chocolate heart shape cakes already on display, so I would have bought one at that time. THEN I was told they don't make red velvet cake in heart shaped that 'small'. So I asked for the 2 'small' red velvet cup cakes that were on display, was charged $7. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service.

She indicated they had heart shaped cakes in the display case he could buy but when asked if they were red velvet she said no so he said he wanted red velvet and would continue with ordering one. When I went to cut the cake after it was picked up a couple days later, it was a chocolate cake. My husband took it back and the owner or manager who he spoke to was very carless about the situation and said they didn’t make red velvet in the size we ordered or that shape. Jennifer never relayed that message and clearly had no idea. The owner didn’t offer any solution or care to resolve it but took the cake back and gave my husband his money back. He decided to get two red velvet cupcakes on the spot to have something else to give me and still had to pay for them. If Bake n Cakes really cared about their customers the cupcakes would’ve been on the house at least. This is our 3rd encounter with this establishment within the last year and there has been an issue every single time but this has been the worst.

Spent roughly 10 minutes in the store picking out items for my team just for them to say we don't have apple pay, even though it's looks like the system for it. Disappointed, I wanted to try you guys out. I recommend you guys put a sign up for us. Also, she was really rude to the other customers. No issues on my end from her.

Went in for donuts and learned they don’t make them. Bought 2 muffins and 2 pineapple upside down mini cakes. Very expensive - $12.00 and cakes very dry. Probably won’t go back.
