Had passed by this place for years and years on end every time I visited my in laws. Decidef to finally give it a try and it's actually a pretty decent steak sandwich. It's not going to blow your mind but in a world where even fast food is somehow getting shittier than it used to be, it's nice to have something I would consider a reliably decent option.

Great place the only drawback is they won't go any further west than Lansing we need one in Grand Rapids. Update 8-8-26. Nice staff but it is clear in order to keep costs down lower quality rib eye is being used now. Does not have the same taste and is drier than it has ever been.

Big John's is a pre-concert tradition for us. Watching the food being prepared fresh sets them apart from other fast- food venues. Our out-of-state friend gets a bottle of their proprietary John sauce to take home when he visits
