Absolutely one of my most favorite Mexican restaurants ever! Heads up, they have changed their name to Catalina's. I have been there before for tacos al pastor (best al pastor), but today had their Chicken Mole Poblano and it was super delicious! They make mole from scratch, and so authentic. It doesn't have chocolate in it though. So much flavor! And the best part, they use Chicken thighs and drumstick, even more flavor! Guacamole was so fresh, made from scratch too....
this is the only place I've ever found that has pozole poblano on the menu, my #1 favorite food, and TRUST that they do NOT skimp on their portions. eating that soup felt like coming home. delicious.
Hubby and I are in the area and craving Mexican food. We had an enjoyable meal. Friendly staff brought us chips and salsa. The chicken gorditas and chicken flautas hit the spot. We were happy to see they sell Diet Coke and to note that public parking in the lot across the street is free on The Weeknd’s. We will comeback if we’re in the area.
