As a long time Diamond member, this is not the most desirable Doubletree I have stayed at. It has a lifeless vibe and feel as if the hotel is bleeding to death and struggling to stay open. The lobby is very welcoming and clean with a fresh welcoming smell. The front desk staff are great. The upper level suite I stayed in was nice, clean and had a very nice walk-in shower with very spacious bathroom and living area. The pool and fitness center seems to be out of service and the...
Update on 08 June 2026: The hotel responded to my review and provided a credit for the $15 erroneous breakfast charge. I have therefore revised the rating to 4 stars.
This was a great stay (3 nights) and I had no complaints until checkout (that's the reason for the 3-star review). The accommodations were great and the breakfast was of a decent quality and great value.
As a Hilton Gold member, I am eligible for a $15 daily credit on food....

We had breakfast in the morning which was tasty and inckuded both a dish and a small buffet.
Would stay here again when in the area. Liked being near the Capitol building.
