“Went here as other places were packed today and would say this is a great spot for fried fish! Split a white bass and a catfish dinner which had generous portions and came out hot and tasty; not oily at all. Didn't get a chance to try the chicken but plan on coming back; and had we had room for dessert or extra sides there was a huge selection of traditional cake, cheesecake and puddings as well as every side you could want (and even some I wasn't expecting like falafel)“

“The thing to get here is the Crack Chicken tenders or the jumbo shrimp with extra Crack seasoning. Both are very good with large portions...but a somewhat expensive.

To be clear, the Crack seasoning makes all the difference...without the seasoning the chicken and the shrimp just don't have that much flavor. It is the same at either Lansing location.

The fries and hushpuppies are very good too but expensive for what you get. Both really need the Crack seasoning too so make sure you order yours WITH extra Crack seasoning...you will thank me later. Check your fries BEFORE leaving the store to make sure they are fresh. The fries ALWAYS taste stale after a 30 to 45 minute delivery ride or a 25 minute ride home.

Pass on the fried cod, it is very fishy and gamy tasting...with or without the Crack seasoning.

Make sure you call your order in or be prepared to wait 20 to 45 minutes for your meal to be cooked. It is a small store that can get very crowded, very quickly...especially from 5 to 7pm any day of the week.

When ordering from Door Dash, we recommend checking your order BEFORE the driver leaves or you may get someone else's order...which has happened to us mutiple times already.

Overall, probably the best fried chicken tenders and jumbo shrimp...again, as long as you order it with extra Crack seasoning. The seasoning is so good, you might want want to buy some to take home with you. It does have MSG though but maybe that is one of the qualities that makes it addicting. It is good on virtually anything grilled or fried.“

“Small place, nice and clean outside and inside. The portions are perfectly sized, and the pricing is cheap for the quality and quantity of food you get. I usually do the two strip meal which comes with Fry's, house made coleslaw, and two slices of bread for $8.00. You can add drinks and deserts if you'd like. The dessert selection is as big as the regular menu items. The lemon pound cake and cheesecake where phenomenal. The menus has cheese curds, and other deep fried foods that are delicious, I have had the cheese curds.
The seafood selection is also good with a variety of fish to choose from.
I strongly recommend crack chicken for anyone that loves fried foods.“

“I suggested my mother order wings for the holiday from here. we have been coming here for 5 years, and have referred many. their website prices does not match in store pricing,, nor their menus.. she ordered a 100 wing dings, website 54.99, in store 79.99. She even called beforehand and confirmed price. when she arrived she was given a different price. So bad customer service and false advertisement. Me & my family won't be returning. I also will be notifying all the people I referred plus letting my co workers at the airport know of this. we will just go to or other spot..he was also rude and disrespectful. buyers beware! I also will be posting a review on any platform they host, ridiculous. you don't get to disrespect your customers and think people will return.“

“We ordered the mixed chicken with light crack salt. It seemed a little over cooked for me, but that's exactly how my hub likes it. I loved the fried green beans. The Mac n cheese bites and onion rings were good. My hub picked the order up and said the place was cleaner than the chicken place on the Northside, which is important! We'll likely order again.“
