“I visited on my way back from a business trip. I ordered the cod meal with fries and slaw. The portion of fish was beyond what I'd imagined it would be. I was so full after the cod and slaw I didn't eat the fries or hushpuppies!

“Was in town for the weekend and wanted a nice steak dinner. This was the place I picked from the search, which was then backed up by a local at my hotel when I asked, where they'd recommend. Managed to sneak in a little before they closed. Leaving after they closed, without needing to be rushed.

After our meal the owner Paul, (not Jake, Jake is on the wall) walked by and had a nice talk.

“I was excited to drive by and see this location. The outside is not in perfect condition but inside the store it was clean and updated. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. A lot of things about this visit was nostalgic for me as I used to go to the location at 8 Mile (Detroit) until they closed it years and years ago. Even the flat paper dishes to pump the tartar sauce into and The Malt vinegar was there! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food.“
