There are closer places to where I live but it certainly doesn't feel like going out of my way to drive to Bangor for the quality of food and customer service.”

“This place is adorable. When you walk through the door, April is the first person you see. She’s friendly, prompt, and easy to talk to. The place was clean and the atmosphere was friendly and casual. Our food came out within 5 minutes, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Support this local business because they really make some delicious food. Ribs fell off the bone and the sause was plentiful.”

“Incredible service here. I went in and had a couple beers, when I tried to pay their card machine wasn’t working. Instead of asking me to go and withdraw cash (which I offered to do numerous times) the two ladies working there insisted that the beers were on the house. Thank you for your hospitality!!!”

“Oh my gosh! This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. The rice is so fluffy and delicious. The carnitas tacos (only available on the weekends according to the menu) were perfection. The chicken and asada were great too, but nothing beats carnitas.

“we have been going for over 25 years. we drive all the way from Portage. for the new owners, what did you change on the pizza? my wife thinks it's the sausage. I think it's the sauce. it's still good but not the same.”

“Best burger i have eaten in 20 years. I love stopping at small bars to try burgers. The Monster was like bitting into my childhood. My mother used to work at a small bar 20 years ago. She has passed since then, and i havent had a burger like hers until i took that first bite at arrowhead. I wanted to hug the cook! Will definitely be back.”

“Stopped by for breakfast while passing through and was greeted and seated warmly and quickly. The drinks were brought quickly, and the food wasn't far behind. The food was good, seasoned and cooked nicely and we didn't leave hungry. Seemed to be a place where locals frequented, not a lot of seating area, but overall a pretty decent place for a breakfast stop.”

We loved getting to know Zoey at the bar for many years and most recently Emily was our bartender and she was fantastic. We're just looking for a low key good time when we come here, so we highly recommend this place if that's what you are also looking for.”

Some of the bread is pretty good, and the pizzas are mostly mid or bad, but omg the sandwiches are all unbelievably tasty beyond all rational belief. I wish I could eat here every day.”
