The guy taking our order was great! Sadly I didn't catch his name, but we're visiting on vacation, and I appreciated the help and kindness. We ordered the Log Jam, North Shore, and the special on Friday (which had chicken, bourisin, cukes, onions, & lettuce). All were fantastic! That pretzel bread is *chef's kiss* We also tried the cherry half and half and it was delicious.

Awesome atmosphere? Sure. Great employees and people? Definitely. Best sandwiches ever? Not even close people. Listen—I love me a good delectable sandwich just like the rest of em but this was a decently average sandwich. The pretzel bread is just meh and make sure you get yourself a drink with it cuz your mouth may be needing it. Luckily I didn’t have to wait like an hour for this sammie. All in all—decent. If you’re rushed for time—skip it, you won’t regret it (unless you fall victim to peer pressure and see everyone saying it’s the best sandwiches this side of the Mississippi)

We were taking a nice scenic ride along Lake Michigan and decided to find somewhere to get cheese curd. We were so happy this spot showed up on our Google search. The lines for sandwiches was 30 mins, however we just wanted cheese curd and got taken care of right away. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. This is a cash only place. If you are in the area definitely check this spot out.

This sandwich blew me away. Quite possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. The pretzel bread was incredible and really made the sandwich but at the same time all ingredients were high quality and delicious. A must!

Got the carp river sandwich. Love it will get it again. Remember to bring cash they only take cash. Good idea to call ahead during certain times of the year. They run out of stuff to make the sandwiches.

What an awesome sandwich joint. Very cool spot and worth checking out if you’re driving through Leland. The sandwiches and flavors were great. My only gripe is the bread was hard for the sandwiches but we knew that going into it. Still definitely recommend and we’ll be back when driving through. Also very reasonably priced compared to other places in the area which is always appreciated.
Our favorite sandwich shop in early spring and late fall (aka the day they open and closing week)! If I thought leaving a negative review would stop the tourism and make it easier to get in to Fishtown for a Sammy in the summer I would. The pretzel bread is wonderful.
