“The wait was a little longer then most restaurants I visit but well worth it as there was NO microwave used in La Posada's cooking like alot of other Mexican restaurants I visted. Everything here was fresh off the grill and good tasting authentic food takes time and cannot be rushed which I appreciated and understood. My son is very picky in what he will eat and La Posada cooked him items that were not on the menu to accomadate his diet.“

“First time going there. I ordered a home made corn quesadilla stuffed with mushrooms, epazote, cheese and grilled onions. My wife ordered a huarache, which is an oval corn made, thicker dough like tortilla topped with half Mexican chorizo and half chopped steak or carne asada with fresh cheese sliced nopalito or tender cactus, onions and green and red salsas.Both were delicious. The only thing I wasn't expecting was a service charge besides taxes. I guess a lot of places are doing that nowadays.“

A favorite in Lincoln Park 3073 Fort has a large following of regular customers 😁. $1.79 each Taco Tuesday packs the place for dine in and take out customers. Sergio and sister Yolanda run the place along with help from three kids. Jalisco Mexico the hometown via Sw Detroit has marvelous Authentic Mexican meals and Booze too. My favorite Al Pastor Tacos 😋 rule, I'm addicted have them once per month. I have them add Sauteed Onions and Jalapeno for a Xtra kicker, with fabulous Salsa Verde. She had the Chicken Tacos 😋, we shared a outstanding Steak Fries. Those fries one of the very best ever Eaten, plenty for 3 or more to share.
