“Wanted to try a new pizza place for the family tonight and after a google search, found Mickeys Pizza. Made a call to see if the did delivery because well, after painting all day; I wasn’t driving anywhere. Had the pleasure of speaking with Damien I believe. Absolute gent! Answered all my questions and got me squared away to enjoy a night of not cooking, and self indulging in some awesome downriver pizza. I don’t have the pizza in front of me quite yet as I just placed this order. But due to the impeccable customer service I received from Damien, I felt just in coming to write a positive review just based off my experience with him alone. I look forward to this pizza set to arrive at my home in the next half hour, with my 6 sides of ranch and 2 sides of garlic butter.

“Everything was delicious and the ambiance was outstanding. We ate while listening to the soothing sounds of live jazz music. The wonderful bread was casually refreshed throughout the meal. I had the perch and my friend had the filet mignon, both were fantastic. I highly recommend this hidden treasure.“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“I went in for an acai bowl and was not disappointed. The blue coconut bowl sounds and looks so good. I would love to try it, but I just love acai bowls so much that I'm not sure it will ever happen. I rated the atmosphere 4/5 because there was literally no one in there.“

“I tried really hard to find Google reviews for this restaurant but I could not locate it so I will leave my review here. I'm a little late but I'll keep my promise. My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday and it was such a nice experience. The '80s and '90s theme is so cool! and the girl behind the counter who took our order was as sweet as could be. I wish I couldn't remember the name of the store owner, and I should have written it down, but what a genuine nice guy! The food was superior! I had the chicken and bacon ranch wrap which was so large that I had to take half of it with me. My boyfriend's Ringo Burger was so delicious and so fresh tasting. We also had the cajun fries and he generously offered a cup of French onion soup for us to try. All I can say is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back again! “I was fortunate to find this hidden gem. I was the first customer on Friday, September 4 and I felt love and warmth as soon as I walked in the door.

I inquired about the history and found they opened almost in the midst of COVID and experienced a few struggles.

The salmon croquette patties were so flavorful. The honey biscuit and truffles fries were top notch. The dine-in service was wonderful.

The Chicken Caesar Wrap is delicious and is a must try. The Steak Sandwich is amazing too and the fries are always crisp! The Shrimp Boy & the Banana pudding are definitely a must try too. They have so many options on their menu, you can’t go wrong with any choice you make.“

“Between doctor appointments, a friend & I had lunch at Olga’s Kitchen, located in Woodhaven, MI, yesterday. The food was really good & Sabrina, our server was excellent. We received some of the best service I have ever had and I wanted to recognize her. Sabrina was very personable and very, very attentive to our needs. Due to illness I am unable to get out very often and she made this a most enjoyable Olga’s’ experience. Thank you Sabrina, are an asset to your employer!“

“This is a grip of nostalgia from the word go.

This restaurant is never more than it needs to be. One person on the grill, one waitress, and a great lineup of breakfast and lunch options.

The place is cash only, which is not something you see everyday. And EVERYTHING on the menu is under $10.

You won’t find a better value for breakfast in the area. The cynics would say it needs to be renovated, but if they do it would take away from the charm.

Nothing needs to change about this place. We will be here again. Thank you“

I had a really nice experience at Lou’s Deli. The ambiance was welcoming and full of character, and the overall vibe felt like a true neighborhood spot. I came in with my son, and we genuinely enjoyed our time there.

A good friend of mine from Berry & Sons Islamic Slaughter House which is also a 5-star place recommended Lou’s, so I stopped by specifically for the corned beef. The quality and flavor were excellent, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I ordered the corned beef sandwich (plain with mustard) with fries, while my son had breakfast, which he really enjoyed.

The service was exceptional very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our waitress, an Albanian lady, was wonderful and added to the warm, community oriented atmosphere. You can feel the kindness and pride people take in their work there.

If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add a bit more meat to the corned beef sandwich. I honestly wouldn’t have minded paying a little extra for a heavier portion in New York Jewish-deli style Deli’s. That said, the taste and quality were absolutely five-star, and next time I’ll simply ask for extra meat.

Overall, great food, great people, great atmosphere. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid deli experience in Detroit especially if you appreciate good service and quality food.“

“Olga's used to be one of our favorites but unfortunately this location has gone downhill. Our service or server was very slow tonight (sandwiches out before soup & salad) and we were never offered refills on our drinks. We asked for no tomatoes and they were on both sandwiches. The snackers are one of our favorite items and they were hard as a rock. Very disappointing...“
