Chianti Reviews
We just got married at Mission Point on July 4, 2025 and had the best experience!!
Julie Suddon and Charlotte Mills and the entire staff were incredible. Julie was super responsive and sweet from start to finish. Super easy to work with and just a nice person. She transitioned us to Charlotte Mills to do the actual planning and the transition was super smooth with tons of communication.

Resort smells of mold and mildew, rooms are even worse with window air conditioning from the 80s. Flooring was wet and entire room smelled. There was even a section in front of the sink that was dipped and clearly rotting anyone could fall through one jump. To top it off the last day there was a cockroach in the bathroom as we were packing to leave. Would not go back. Location was great but hotel itself and pool area need substantial work!
First timer here. Had a room outside of the main hotel that wasn’t to par. They gladly changed our room and we were much happier. Expected rooms to be older because well, it’s Mackinac. Clean room, friendly staff. Food just ok. View spectacular. As a designer, I feel the rooms could def need a bit of sprucing up. Especially the art work. Not enough storage (shelves etc) in bathroom. TV outdated.
All that being said-I would stay again, but ask to stay in the main hotel...read full review
