The food was tasty and good, but that’s not why you go- THE VIEW IS AMAZING. Absolutely the best island vista you will find during your visit. My wife and I shared the Tea Sandwich service starter. A perfect snack for two while we took in the view. The people were friendly and responsive but we didn’t ask much- just time to enjoy.
The Fort Mackinac Tea room has a fantastic view of the town and lake. I would say the view is the number one reason to eat here. Our server also was spectacular. I would say the food itself is very average. It was nice to enjoy the view while eating.
This restaurant offers a beautiful view of Mackinac and the lake. We only had snacks, but the pretzels and mustard, cobbler, and cheesecake were all very good. And the mimosas are huge. The service is just ok. It took a while to even get water's and then a while to get our drinks. And I asked for bluberry topping and got cherry.
