Delicious food, though service was a bit slow on the patio due to busy-ness. The whitefish and clam chowder is outstanding, and so are the pierogies. Husband loved the burger. I wish they had the Big Lake Lilac Festival beer all the time... so good.

We have been patroning the Gate House for at least 25 years. We usually have at least 6 of our family for dinner, before the Fourth of July Fireworks. Gergo provided exemplary service for an amazing experience and we APPRECIATE his kindness! He was personable, engaged and intuitive and made the entire experience memorable! The food was outstanding and overall we were very satisfied! Thank you to Gergo and also to Francis who extended superior hospitality and warmth!

The Gate House was a great spot for dinner. Demar, was truly the sweetest server and made our experience unforgettable! We had the BEST food, and the service was great. I would highly recommend a visit here. :)
