Great spot on Mackinac Island for a relaxed meal with a classic feel. The setting by the golf course is really nice, the food was solid, and it made for an easy place to sit down and enjoy the island for a bit. I’d definitely come back for dinner or drinks when staying nearby or spending the day on the island.
Definitely eat here and not at the main dining room. Service here was actually acceptable and good. Food was freshly made unlike main hotel, and drinks were nice. The accommodated my request for a vesper martini even though they did not have lillet. Steak was properly cooked and flavours were delicious.
We enjoyed our dinner at the Jockey Club. The shining star to our evening was Nick our server. We look forward to seeing him again in the future.
Our meals ( lunch and dinner ) were good. My husband had the French Onion soup with his dinner and it was the best I've ever had.
