Absolutely loved celebrating our anniversary at The Jockey Club. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet, cozy, and elegant. Our waiter was amazing- we just had the best time! They were so thoughtful and even went so far as to bring us a special dessert platter- memorable in the best way!
The Jockey Club is the place to wine and dine on Mackinac island. Great food and service. Most staff are Jamaican. Too bad they didn’t service Rasta pasta. . The Bread / Burrata was to start of with and did not disappoint, freshly baked with a crisp . Fresh ingredients. . The burgers & tomato soup & chicken tender. Must have . Not over cooked or dry. To top it off the chocolate brownie and mimosa . Every thing done correctly to the T
I really enjoyed the Jockey Club. I got the prime rib and it was the best prime rib I’ve ever had. I also got the prime rib at the Grand Hotel and the prime rib at the Jockey club was much greater. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was lovely to eat outside as the sun was setting and enjoy the view of the golf course and the Grand Hotel. Our server was nice and did a good job.
