Delicious!!! Friendly !! Expensive. I'm not big on fried food really but it was recommended to try, glad we did. Got 2 piece white fish, chicken tenders and garlic cheese bites. So fresh tasting
This place is tucked away and it is so cute. I have never had bad food here and the atmosphere gives quiet small restaurant during the hustle and bustle of shopping Mackinac cite strip.
We hadn't been here for a couple of years and decided to stop during our early Sept 26 UP trip. Absolutely amazing!! The young man at the register was so nice - very polite. So, instead of heading to Petoskey this weekend, we changed our plans so we could visit Scalawags again and oh my goodness!! Delicious!! Highly recommend the 4pc Whitefish basket with a side of garlic cheese bites! With the trip no matter where you are coming from!! Thank you Scalawags for great service...
