It's the only restaurant I've ever been to where the actual food is prettier than the photos. I have tried 97% of the menu and my very favorite is the Greek Rice Bowl with grilled shrimp. The dressing is so good mixed with the tzitziki - it's always delicious. I have no photos because I eat it too quickly before I remember to snap a picture!“

We tried the French toast, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and coffee. My daughter devoured the french toast. I enjoyed my plain pancakes. The chocolate chip pancakes came smothered in Hershey's syrup, which my kid didn't enjoy, but your kid might.“

For years the spiral cut French fries have been my favorite fries at any fast casual chain. Yesterday I was at Royal Oak and the fries have changed for the worse. There is a new batter style and they were too salty. Please bring back the old fries!!!“

“They are a cool group. My daughter worked there 30 years ago and had a great time. When she is in town, she picks up their Greek salad dressing -about 8 bottles and several pasta salads. I pick up once in a while their top notch Greek salad.“

The staff at Red Olive writes each associate's name on the food lid and even wrap individual condiments with plastic and put their names on them. The attention to detail and quality of service is phenomenal. The food is delicious as well with plenty of options for staff to choose from. In the this day and age, I appreciate good customer service even though we are not dining in. One day I hope to visit your establishment in person. Great job Red Olive Southfield. “I’m surprised by the reviews. I had a great experience. All the reviews about the service - it’s not a sit down restaurant. Had the chicken Cesar pita. It was amazing. I’ll be back just for the pita not to shop at the mall! Chicken was marinated, very tender and juicy. Perfect amount of dressing. The Romain was fresh and crisp. French fries were almost like steak fries. Not overly greasy. Highly recommend checking this place out next time you’re shopping at the mall. Prices are typical.“

“I always order the chicken kebab dinner when I go to Leo’s. It comes with two very large skewers of chicken. The chicken is cooked perfectly. High-quality and taste delicious. It is also served with delicious rice and french fries if you would like. You get coleslaw and pita bread with it it’s very fairly priced. When you get the order to go, it is always packaged perfectly. They take into consideration everything they never leave anything out. Everything is wrapped in cellophane so it doesn’t drip all over the bag. They really do a great job on carryout at Leo’s Coney Island. I have never sat inside this location to eat I only get food to go. And that chicken kebab is the only thing I’ve ordered. It’s really nice that they give you two large skewers of chicken. I’ve never been to a place that gives you two as a standard order, you always have to order the second one on the side. It’s a nice touches like that that makes Leo’s Coney Island, a great place!!“
