This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. “I came in to order because I had a coupon. I placed my order and then realized it was an online coupon only so I sat down to order online figuring it was going to take another 1/2 hour to wait. I placed my order and then went to the car to wait and in less than 4 minutes she came out to my car with our pizzas. “The pizza was amazing as usual, but the employee seemed a little aggravated at something. He was never disrespectful or rude but I was definitely able to see that he was upset and/or mad about something. I understand it's hot in a pizza kitchen, I've been there and done that for a few years. I have been upset and/or mad at work but I would never let my customers see it, I would still smile and act like nothing was wrong because I don't want the customers to see that. I want them to see us smiling because it's contagious. But other than that it's an amazing place and love their pizza!!“

“My husband took me out for what he still calls date night after 30 yrs. of marriage. He and I are both foodies and love going on adventures for restaurants that go a step above in both food taste, presentation, atmosphere and service. And I'm here to tell you that Alfanos hit all of these with flying colors. Cody and Alex were our bartenders/servers. They were excellent. I had the Chicken picata and it was off the chart with flavor and presentation not to mention a healthy serving. Delicious is all I kept saying. Compliments to the chef!!!!! My goodness I can't wait to go and try something else. My husband had the chicken parmesan dinner and too was very pleased. Thank you very much to our servers and the Alfanos for a wonderful date nite and dining experience 😊 we will definitely be back.“
