We were there tonight for our first time. It was packed and while we were told it could be a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated in 5 minutes. Emily was our waitress. She was great! Checked in on us often and was super friendly. I ordered the Korean BBQ wings. Delicious! My fiancé ordered the Chicken Alfredo. We’ve ordered this at many places and this was one of the best! Buttery noodles with the Alfredo sauce and the chicken was seasoned perfect! We will definitely go back.
The employees acted like they couldn’t have cared less that we were there. The food was just so so, our subs were burned, I had no mayo on my sub (maybe because I had asked for a side of mayo which I didn’t get and had to ask for) and there was maybe half a piece of bacon on my turkey club sub. Peppino's Pizzeria & Sports Grille is a top notch destination for pizza, sports, and friendly people. The atmosphere is great, and the food is always yum. The staff is amazing, with excellent service from individuals like Sophie the Bartender, who gets 6/5 stars for professionalism, and Emily the waitress, who was super friendly. First-time guests note the restaurant runs like a well oiled machine, with a short wait even when packed. The pizza is the best, better than Vitale's, with options like the ultimate meat and the Brooklyn pizza both with thin crust. The lunch buffet features a very good salad, warm breadsticks with marinara, two pasta offerings (Alfredo chicken was delicious), chicken, large ribs, and hot pizza. The Korean BBQ wings are delicious, and the Chicken Alfredo is one of the best with buttery noodles and seasoned chicken. Pasta dishes are cooked perfectly with some of the best marinara sauce and very good meatballs. Service is excellent, and guests will definitely go back.
