We went to The Portside Inn for my birthday, and it was a great experience! My husband, our oldest son, and two friends joined us. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals. It made for a lovely birthday celebration—highly recommend
Really nice place. Water on the table, lots of mocktails and cocktails available to order. Candles on the tables. Breadsticks are amazing, chili is good, pizza's good. Would eat again!
Fantastic casual dining experience. Great atmosphere with tons of local pictures and Lake Superior history on the walls. Very friendly staff with knowledge of the history and food. We loved the breadsticks, as mentioned in previous reviews. Get them even if you normally avoid carbs- it's worth it! I also had French Onion Soup, which had a rich and flavorful broth...I would order it again!
