They’ve received nearly half a billion dollars in taxpayer money. They’re not an elected board, so there is no way for area residents to hold them accountable, and they don’t have to tell any of us how they spend a single penny. If you have no issues with that, that’s fine, but an unelected “chamber of commerce” of a small town of just 7000 people, receiving around $480,000,000 of taxpayer money with no accountability and no oversight is extremely offensive to me.

I’m very disappointed in this organization that has not been transparent in their actions. They do not have the best interest of their community. They do not give the people a voice or the right to vote. They have misused their power. They are deceitful and untrustworthy.

Completely disgusted by this organization’s decision to support the Megasite mess. The destruction of historic homesteads and wildlife habitat near our river is deplorable to say the least.
