“OH MY, have I been sleeping on this place. Blown away.

I’ve been coming to Gun Lake every summer for 38yrs and this little building just down the gas station has been so many different things over the years that I’d basically written it off.

Well let me tell you, DO NOT write off C’s for pizza and BBQ.

I ordered 1lb of sliced brisket and meat lovers calzone. Every single bite was amazing.

Brisket: the size of the slice (a bit larger than your common “pencil thickness”) had a great bite to it. I had a nice cross section where flat turned into point which was delicious. The bark was dark and solid, yet not hard or crusty and the salt level on the outside was absolutely perfect…chef’s kiss.

Calzone was standard but also huge and very tasty.

As the 20-something TikTok influencers like to say…run, don’t walk, to C’s. Place is solid.”

“It was June, 2024. My 2 sisters were helping me move on a hot day. We asked and actually WERE allowed to sit on the deck outside. Our server's name was Amber! She was AMAZING! So kind and personable. She was clever and funny. Her service was great. If Amber still is working there, ask for her! Also, love that this place has a deck....but wouldn't take too much money to sand and re-stain the deck, put some large plants out there, may be some speakers for music. Even a few outside large area rugs would liven the place up. Also at night....I hope you have some fun lighting out there! This is an area in your restaurant for a huge opportunity that I believe will bring lots of business there in Michigan's 3 warm seasons. Also, may want to pick a theme for the deck...a style. Maybe have a sidebar out there where customers can get extra napkins, more ketchup/mustard/mayo, etc. Some cool posters on the exterior wall of your building. The deck needs some love. Once again, food was very good, and Amber, our server, was excellent. Thank you and I wish you many more years of business here in Middleville!!!”

“It's a Subway in a gas station. Service was very good. I'm not happy they changed the sweet onion dressing, so I can't give 5 stars. Prices are also higher than they should be for a fast food sandwich.”

“Great carryout! First time here after moving to this small town. I had low expectations and a hunkering for Chinese food. I went with the pot stickers and beef lo mien, which was the most recommended items. They both were very good. I only wish there were more meat and a perhaps some veggies. I’ll definitely go back again and try something less popular.”

He went in early to get the order done in off hours, personally delivered it, and was so kind every step of the way. This is also our go to place for family pizza nights. Our favorite is the thin crust four cheese pizza. Everyone we introduce to this place raves about it. Delicious pizza, excellent service, and very fair prices.”

“Bangkok Chef is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the greater Grand Rapids area. It was such a treasure when they opened in Caledonia and even after moving away from the area, I try to order from them as often as I can when I’m back in Caledonia. The peanut curry noodle is always on point, but I’ve always loved everything I’ve tried from them. Highly recommend!”

“I've been here numbers times, it's the kind of food where if you get the chicken tenders, you can tell they might've been frozen, but it's still a solid 9/10 for their food the cook knows what their doing, and the hawk burger is amazing. And everything else is a 10/10, actually fair prices, they actually have whole meals for $9 on their menu, whereas a lot of other restaurants start at $12 or so for a salad or something. The service is always good. I have not had a bad experience here yet, and I do plan on returning.”
