Big Boy Reviews
Ordered breakfast which included toast and a fresh fruit cup. I ordered dry rye toast and the fresh fruit cup. Was brought wheat toast and a fruit cup consisting of frozen blueberries, canned mandarin oranges and fresh grapes. The waitress told me that was what they called a "fresh" fruit cup because it was put together fresh each day. The toast was their special blend of Rye so it didn't taste as strong. Sounded like management had prepped her well with bs excuses.
Went with my wife to dinner tonight,Cassie was quick to greet us and get our drinks and take our order, but it took 25 minutes to get our food and it was ice cold, said she would take care of it,turns out taking card of it is putting it in a microwave, 3rd and last try at this establishment, too many other choices of places to eat easily in a 2 block radius.
They discriminate against older people especially someone that is deaf. We were told they had complaints at two different times. Big Boy restaurant offers a mix of experiences for its customers. The Philly cheesesteak is a popular and delicious option, often paired with crispy onion rings. The salad bar is another great feature, well-stocked and appreciated by many. Servers can be friendly and helpful, contributing to a great lunch experience. However, some customers have reported receiving cold food, including the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and pizza rolls. Service can be slow, with some diners noting that their orders took a long time to be taken or fulfilled. Additionally, some servers may not be attentive enough, leading to dissatisfaction with the service. Pricing can be a bit steep; for example, a small breakfast buffet for four can cost $80, which some feel is not worth it given the limited options. Despite these issues, Big Boy maintains a loyal customer base who appreciate its uniqueness and are willing to return for another chance.
