The Good: look it’s a local place that’s been there for a while…and there are pancakes\nThe Bad: kinda weathered, mostly bland \n\nI want to love this place but I can’t. It’s a long time local joint in a dilapidated little strip mall. It’s got a huge menu and the prices are reasonable. There were 2 of us and the only solid part of either meal was my side of pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty and medium sized. The service was ok.
If you want great food and great service, this is your spot. Easy access off Hwy 23. Extensive menu with great breakfast choices served all day (well they close at 3 pm). They know customers by name from repeat visits. The food was so good we kept ordering a different item off the menu every time she came to fill my coffee. We will definitely make this a regular stop when traveling through Michigan.
First time here and we will be back. Headed south from Northern Michigan on a road trip and I wanted a Greek salad really bad as we did not have restaurants like this in our area. Wonderful Greek salad. Husband enjoyed his gyro.
