I'm obsessed with their sourdough bread. I go to Vestergaard Farms to buy loaves. I buy many at a time and freeze them. I eat this bread every single day. I can't thank Rich Gains enough for providing local, homemade bread. You guys are the best!

Rich Grains Bakery is described as the best bakery in town and a destination bakery in Michigan. The quality is top notch, with gorgeous pastries and breads that are high quality, fresh, and reasonably priced. The flavors are incredible, and the baked goods are delicious. Specific items mentioned include the strawberry cruffins, the cruffin, a rectangular fudge thing, a pretzel, the jalapeño pepper and cheese sourdough loaf, an almond croissant, and the house loaf. The house loaf was so good it gave one reviewer goosebumps. The brownie could use some improvement, as it is not super chocolatey and is a textural experience. EK Cheesecakes is also available there, offering a four piece mini sampler. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Reviewers recommend getting there early, especially Friday early AM, to see all the options, as the bakery can be nearly sold out the next day. It is a must try and a place to revisit again and again, worth the trip even for a typically gluten-free family.
