“Super cute inside and the owner was awesome! Great customer service and trivia was fun. Great atmosphere and he has all MI liquors from what I understand. IPA’s aren’t my thing but he made us rum and coke. It was delicious! The rum he gets from MI and it was smooth. Will definitely go back.“

“A Great place to grab a burger! The burger was delicious and juicy. The fries were not as great. They were a little soggy. The bartender was very polite and fun to be around. As far as the atmosphere, it was too dark inside for my taste. None the less a great place to hang out with friends and family!“

“It was nice I had my g -son with us so no alcohol drinks .Everyone was pretty much in to their own conversation which was miserable .we will be going back.Parking: There is a lot across the street in front and on the side so a lot of parking.“

Vassar Bar is exactly what you expect a small town bar to be like: inexpensive and strong drinks, a bit rundown, quirky characters, a bartender that has been there for an eternity. We appreciated talking with the patrons and bartender and getting some scoop on the goings on. I hope the new owners keep the charm and character of the bar.“
