What a surprise to find this gem - the parking lot is full for a reason! We had one of the best burgers and definitely the best, fresh, tender fried whitefish. Good drinks and the best service in ages from a friendly server who anticipated our every need. Would eat here every night. Make a reservation if you want to be sure to get in - we risked and they accommodated us without one.
Phenomenal tasting food!! The food is what made me decide to leave a review. The items I loved the most were the brussel sprouts and crispy chicken ceaser salad. The service was good based on the number of people working and the amount of people eating there. But they really could have used another waitress. Our waitress was very very busy serving too many tables. The atmosphere was your typical bar with dining tables. Overall I would say go there with a lot of time to spare....
Glacia Tavern has been on our list to try during one of our Keweenaw vacations & we finally made it. SO happy we did and can’t wait to come back again! We had the brussels, poutine, whitefish, & the creamy chicken bowl. It was all delicious!! Great atmosphere with not just your average bar food- more elevated.
