“One of my favorite restaurants! Last night I tried a half order of the roasted beet and carrot salad which was huge and sooo good! I always order the Asian Cauliflower because I don’t think anything could ever top that dish!“

“The Open Faced Prime Rib sandwich, was the best I have had since Red Wells closed their doors. The meat is so flavorful. My waitress Karley who was the sweetest thing, told me they slow roast the meat then slice it. We had the Hocus Pocus Marg flight. Sooo cute and so yummy. The place is gorgeous.“

“We stopped here on the way home from Detroit today. Intentionally searched for an automotive themed restaurant to eat at. We sat at the bar and fell in love with the place! Our bartender, Delilah, and a young man who I assume to be a shift manager held conversations with us-telling us about the restaurant, the food options, local history, etc. Such a great experience! Typically customer service is hit or miss in the world anymore, but we did not experience that here. Top notch! Food was great and the mixed drinks were amazing!“

“Today we had a Birthday Lunch at The American Diner for our Sweet Friends, Luella and Karen. Stephanie was our awesome waitress!...there were 16 of us! The food was delicious! It was a wonderful lunch with wonderful friends! ...FYI...They have a large room in the back of the restaurant for your groups or parties.“

“My husband and I stopped in for an earlier dinner. I had the ribeye steak. A little hiccup with the kitchen (requested medium rare, got well done). But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server. Never be the person that once they have something they don’t really like or something went wrong, and make that your last try. Nothing and nobody is perfect.“

“I'm in the search of the best Reuben. So far Joy's has an edge other places I've eaten at since visiting Monroe. The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want. All in all I would say they have the best so far.“

“Went there for the very first time yesterday with my sons, and everything we ordered was delicious. I was NOT disappointed. My son thoroughly enjoyed his root beer float, and chicken sandwich, and my Philly steak was good, I just wish they had mushrooms to add to it. “I'm in love with the Truffle Chicken Sando after trying it! The black truffle mayo has a rich, earthy flavor that perfectly complements the crispy chicken. And the addition of sautéed mushrooms is ideal. You should also try the side fries, particularly the truffle ones.“

“My husband and me both love Cracker Barrel...but the restaurant in Monroe, MI was terrible. I was told they were making more peach lemonade, when in truth, the restaurant was totally out, and out of meatloaf and ribs...very slow service. When my crispy chicken salad finally arrived, it was made incorrectly after waiting 45 minutes for our dinner. We had to ask 3 times for silverware...The manager never came out to talk to us on request...We will never go back to this Cracker Barrel. Worst dinner experience 😒 😡“

Sure their hours are no longer 24/7 but let me tell you about a little secret, it’s worth the wait for those delicious fluffy pancakes with strawberry syrup. Better yet order the bacon temptation omelette you won’t be disappointed. Very nice and respectful staff and very attentive manager to also make sure your experience is top notch! 10/10 would enjoy their pancakes again!!“
