“My husband and I stopped in for an earlier dinner. I had the ribeye steak. A little hiccup with the kitchen (requested medium rare, got well done). But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server. I would rate the actual pizza a 5 star easily. The crust was perfect, no gel, crispy and fluffy in the right ways. The sauce was great. The toppings were a good spread - not too little, but it didn't feel overloaded either. The mushrooms really brought it together - don't change a thing Tiffany, you know some pie.“

They use a lot of cheese compared to some other restaurants. The crust was good. The marinara for the breadsticks was terrible but the sticks were very good. “Monica herself fulfilled an (almost) lifetime dream! Working in polish-dominated Hamtramk, MI, I fell in love with paczki. Moving to Belleville MI, working in Toledo, I needed to find REAL paczki - that pseudo-paczki-junk at Kroger/Meijer is a jelly bismark. Monica makes real paczki. I've gone there from Traverse City since retiring in 2017- on trips to two Monroe fundraisers falling close to Fat Tuesday. The banquets fell 10 days away on either side of Fat Tuesday this year. I called the store, hoping for a pre-or-post Paczki Day special order. THE MONICA, herself, called to get my order. I took a chance to ask if she could do a dozen poppyseed paczki. My Auntie Bessie used to make poppyseed 'shishka', a bohemian version of polish paczki, in the 1950s. I've not had one in 65+ years, after moving from Chicago . Every year, I've wondered if a paczki-maker would be so kind as to fill some with poppyseed. MONICA MADE ME POPPYSEED PACZKI - out of this world!!! THANK YOU MONICA!!“

Our bartender, Delilah, and a young man who I assume to be a shift manager held conversations with us-telling us about the restaurant, the food options, local history, etc. Such a great experience! Typically customer service is hit or miss in the world anymore, but we did not experience that here. Top notch! Food was great and the mixed drinks were amazing!“

“My husband and me both love Cracker Barrel...but the restaurant in Monroe, MI was terrible. I was told they were making more peach lemonade, when in truth, the restaurant was totally out, and out of meatloaf and ribs...very slow service. When my crispy chicken salad finally arrived, it was made incorrectly after waiting 45 minutes for our dinner. We had to ask 3 times for silverware...The manager never came out to talk to us on request...We will never go back to this Cracker Barrel. Worst dinner experience 😒 😡“
