“1st visit vs 2nd visit: from 1 star service to now a 5

You can read why our first visit was less than satisfactory down below, but I wanted to come back and edit my review because our 1st experience was VERY different from our 2nd. I ended up getting in touch with a manager after our 1st experience and they very kindly gave us a gift card and asked us to return sometime soon. We ended up returning today, February 13th, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish: Brielle (I think that is how you spell her name) was wonderful, and food and drinks were fantastic, and we left completely satisfied and happy! The French onion soup is the best I've had, and I really enjoyed the scallops as well. We will be back again!

The 1st experience:
The food was fanatastic, but our service was really lacking.

The sebass I ordered was delicious but did not come prepared as described on the menu. It said it would come with a soy glaze over Asian vegetables and it came over a bed of spinach with a garlic breading.
Our server forgot to put in our order, or something similar to that. We couldn't understand what had even happened. We arrived at 4:45 and didn't receive our food until 6:30.
The manager came over to speak with us but did not ask us about our experience or offer any discount or retribution. Our server ended up just bringing us dessert and bread to take home. We were running so behind we had to box our food and take it to go at that point so we didn't even get to enjoy it in the restaurant.
Hoping others have a better experience, especially when the bill is almost $400.”

“Mt Town has become our MOST favorite place to eat. The food is good. The service is good. The atmosphere is nice. There's ample parking and they don't play the "background" music so loud that you can't enjoy a pleasant conversation.”

“We had a retirement party of 16 people on a Friday evening. The staff was OUTSTANDING! From the hostess, bartenders, to waitresses, just amazing service all the way around! They were friendly, accommodating, and patient, for we stayed later than their designated closing time. Thank you Bucks Run for making our party a wonderful memorable experience!”

“I would like to give compliments & some improvements. If it weren't for the nice hostess, I would have turned around and left. It was filled with people inside and I couldn't hear my husband even talk when we were seated. The font was so tiny in the menu, so I needed my phone flashlight. Their selection of cocktails is really nice and they have wine too. They were kind enough to move us outside when a table opened up. It was a wonderful evening outside, and much quieter. The sushi took a long time to be delivered, however it tasted fresh . The server was friendly.”

“we came here for the first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our server, Abigail was excellent at personalizing the experience, knowledge of the menu, checking in and following up. We would highly recommend her. We enjoyed the drinks, and our entrées, the surf and turf and the salmon. The manager, Christina made our drinks to perfection and also stopped by to see how things were during our. visit. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and easy to get to. The only thing I would change about this restaurant would be the atmosphere. For such a nice experience, it feels more like a casual diner atmosphere. it would be nice if the lights were dim.”

“I can't comment on atmosphere because I placed an online order and had it delivered to my son's dorm, but I am impressed with how fast they processed and delivered the order. It was accurate and delivered within 15 minutes of placing it. My son said they were delicious!!! A perfect break from studying for finals!!! I will definitely order again ♥️♥️♥️”

“My husbands and I first time at this restaurant and we learned a few things about Korean food and how it's eaten. The atmosphere was very homey and I loved the decorations, The food was amazing in my opinion very healthy. The lady (Idk if she is the owner or not) was so amazing and so friendly with a touch of humor. We did wait a bit to get our food but that's ok it all still tasted great and I wasn't in a rush to be anywhere! I would definitely go back!”

“Crumbl is a favorite in our house. These cookies are delicious. Even the ones that aren’t my favorite are good. They are big with a lot of flavor. My suggestion is buy 6 cut them in quarters and eat a piece from each. They store well and are good for a few days.”

“The atmosphere here is your classic bar that serves food. It does seem clean though, so at least not a grunge bar. They have lots of TV's so you can watch the game.\n\nI ordered the Rodeo Burger ($13), a 7oz patty with cheddar cheese, onion rings, and bbq sauce. The burger was very good. Good quality beef cooked perfectly to my requested medium. I devoured it. I got potato wedges with it. They were huge and hotter than the sun. They barely cooled down by the time my burger was finished. Besides burning my tongue, lol, they were very good. I would definitely get both again.\n\nThe service was very good and friendly.\n\nOverall a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes. This may not fall into my favorite best burgers it is very good and if I lived in the area it would definitely be in my rotation of burgers”

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a polite and friendly woman who went above and beyond to guide us through the menu since we hadn’t tried Korean food before. We started with the Pop Mahn-Doo, fried vegetable and fish dumplings served with kimchi and pickled yellow radish. These bite-sized appetizers were bursting with flavor and spice! Each bite, especially when paired with the garnishes, was an unforgettable explosion of deliciousness. I haven’t stopped thinking about them since my first bite – absolutely 10/10! For our main dishes, we decided to try the Bul-Go-Gi (beef stir-fry with rice) and Dak Bokk-Eum (chicken stir-fry with rice). Though we weren't feeling extremely adventurous this time, we were still blown away by how savory and flavorful both dishes were. We ended up sharing the plates right in the middle of the table because neither of us could decide which one was better. Both dishes had the perfect combination of spices and textures, leaving us wanting more. To finish, we had the mochi ice cream with delicious strawberry ice cream wrapped in a soft, doughy exterior. It was the perfect way to cool down and end an incredible meal. I can’t wait to return to Shins Korean Restaurant. The service, the selection, and the flavors are all top-notch. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out!”

“Stanley's Famous Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, MI, is a great place to grab a casual bite. The diner itself was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. My server was very nice and efficient, taking my order promptly. I opted for the Turkey Club with fries, and the food arrived in just 10 minutes.\n\nThe sandwich was delicious, with tasty turkey and fresh toppings. The fries were perfectly cooked as well. Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced. While the menu wasn't extensive and lacked some classic diner staples like open-faced sandwiches, I still enjoyed my meal.”

“Came here on a busy Friday night on our way up north. We screwed up our order, but thankfully the girl at the window was able to relay the information to the cooks and they made it right.

We love the burgers, fries, coleslaw, broccoli. Chicken sandwiches are good too. We always leave Culver's feeling satisfied!”

“I came through the drive thru and the Manager (I'm so sorry, I can't remember her name although she told me), was so friendly and kind. Sadly, I had forgotten my card and asked if I could just get my drink. She gave me the whole meal at no cost. I needed this kindness. Little did she know, I was down in Mount Pleasant for my next blood draw as I was just diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Life has been hard and my mind has been all over the place (hence why I can't remember this sweet lady's name at the moment, maybe Destiny?). She told me, "We all have bad days, and need a little pick me up." I was so thankful for her. Please keep up the great work and keep being kind. You just never know when someone needs it.”

“Overall experience is great. The bartenders along with the drinks are amazing. I've been here many times usually during busy Friday night hours. I did come in as soon as it opened and the bathrooms were not well maintained/cleaned. I understand that it's a school bar/food area but atleast have someone clean up the Zyn's on the wall and other places before the restaurant opens. Other than that I love this place! Especially Wednesdays they are half off everything 4pm-10pm!!”

But unfortunately the weidman one doesn't offer the party pizzas The party pizza are in my opinion one of the best deals for some of the best pizza around.
