“Went in with a work group of 7 without reservations. Got sat right away. Ordered drinks and appetizers. The calamari was excellent. People ordered various rolls and all of them were delicious - very impressive for Midwest sushi. ??
Did take a little while to get food and the nigiri didn’t come until everyone was done with their rolls. We weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a problem. Would definitely go back the next time I’m in town.”

“We had a retirement party of 16 people on a Friday evening. The staff was OUTSTANDING! From the hostess, bartenders, to waitresses, just amazing service all the way around! They were friendly, accommodating, and patient, for we stayed later than their designated closing time. Thank you Bucks Run for making our party a wonderful memorable experience!”

“we came here for the first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our server, Abigail was excellent at personalizing the experience, knowledge of the menu, checking in and following up. We would highly recommend her. We enjoyed the drinks, and our entrées, the surf and turf and the salmon. The manager, Christina made our drinks to perfection and also stopped by to see how things were during our. visit. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and easy to get to. The only thing I would change about this restaurant would be the atmosphere. For such a nice experience, it feels more like a casual diner atmosphere. it would be nice if the lights were dim.”

He knew super bowl Sunday would be a little rough.. It was. The donuts were amazing and it was wonderful to have such delicious donuts on a less than pleasant work day. I wish I was thinking because I would have offered him some food back! So if the gentleman who dropped some donuts at Hungry Howies today sees this.. We appreciated this SO so much. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shins Korean Restaurant is an absolute hidden gem! My husband and I discovered this place by chance, and we couldn't be happier that we did. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a polite and friendly woman who went above and beyond to guide us through the menu since we hadn’t tried Korean food before. We started with the Pop Mahn-Doo, fried vegetable and fish dumplings served with kimchi and pickled yellow radish. These bite-sized appetizers were bursting with flavor and spice! Each bite, especially when paired with the garnishes, was an unforgettable explosion of deliciousness. I haven’t stopped thinking about them since my first bite – absolutely 10/10! For our main dishes, we decided to try the Bul-Go-Gi (beef stir-fry with rice) and Dak Bokk-Eum (chicken stir-fry with rice). Though we weren't feeling extremely adventurous this time, we were still blown away by how savory and flavorful both dishes were. We ended up sharing the plates right in the middle of the table because neither of us could decide which one was better. Both dishes had the perfect combination of spices and textures, leaving us wanting more. To finish, we had the mochi ice cream with delicious strawberry ice cream wrapped in a soft, doughy exterior. It was the perfect way to cool down and end an incredible meal. I can’t wait to return to Shins Korean Restaurant. The service, the selection, and the flavors are all top-notch. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out!”

“Stans Restaurant....where to start. In old town Mt. Pleasant sits this quaint little restaurant situated in a tenement next to the Broadway theatre and near the end of Broadway St. My wife and I walked into Stan's, and it was like we were transported into a Norman Rockwell scene. The people and staff were very friendly, and we were seated right away to my amazement. I ordered egg breakfast and my wife the biscuits and gravy. Both dishes looked wonderful and tasted even better. The home cooking slogan on the wall is true to its calling, It's excellent food. The home-made bread is some of the best I've ever had anywhere in the country hands down, excluding my mothers of course ☺️. I wanted to buy some loaves but they didn't have enough available. I wish this place wasn't 3 hours from me as we would frequent Stan's daily. Kudos to the owners for having the vision to create such a wonderful staple for the community. ????”

Sadly, I had forgotten my card and asked if I could just get my drink. She gave me the whole meal at no cost. I needed this kindness. Little did she know, I was down in Mount Pleasant for my next blood draw as I was just diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Life has been hard and my mind has been all over the place (hence why I can't remember this sweet lady's name at the moment, maybe Destiny?). She told me, "We all have bad days, and need a little pick me up." I was so thankful for her. Please keep up the great work and keep being kind. You just never know when someone needs it.”

I did come in as soon as it opened and the bathrooms were not well maintained/cleaned. I understand that it's a school bar/food area but atleast have someone clean up the Zyn's on the wall and other places before the restaurant opens. Other than that I love this place! Especially Wednesdays they are half off everything 4pm-10pm!!”

“I walk a by the soobway Most of the time and so I decided to get the soobway today All the ladies whom worked today were very nice. Friendly peoples if I haven't mentioned. Would recommend 10/10, uh I forgot her name but she made very good soob but personally I just like the bread. Bread is so wonderful. I only come to write a funny but honest review. :p anyway order some of their soobway soobs, they're nice even if you're a little weird. Just if you don't like too much sauces or anything be sure to like uh ask for light sauce and uhm yes have a great day!

Parking: Theres not a lot of Dedicated Parking spaces to subway, but that's what I assume from the story due to them not seeming busy. But don't worry there's more parking spaces around if you don't mind I walking to far.

Kid-friendliness: The past few times I visited this subway, I heard no vulgar or explicit things said. This subway is a very friendly one and is very recommended to others.”

“Well after 50 years we are going to have to break up. My pizza with double cheese, ham and onion used to be all white on top, from the cheese, and was covered in delicious strips of sweet onion. Now the onions are skimpy and hard to find, and the ham is kinda skimpy as well. The worst part is the wonderful cheese is now an ugly brown and not real tasty.”
