I'm not sure what happened to the quality of the buffet, but this visit and location did not hit the mark in any way. Even the salad tasted funny. The lettuce was bitter and rusty. The ham/turkey bowl was sus. Ham was brown and couldn't describe the color of the turkey. We'll drive the 25 or so minutes north next time.
We had a great meal here. Everything on the salad bar was fresh with a great variety. The hot foods were all very fresh and a great selection. The service at the register, our table server, and food bar staff was excellent.

They closed Ponderosa in our town. Everyone was very disappointed. ?. So every time I get a chance to go to this Ponderosa, I take advantage of it. ?. I especially love the chicken wings and the banana bread that they have on the salad bar.
