Got there near closing time. Great pasties and gravy. Lots of fudge, I really enjoyed the Salted Nut Roll Fudge. The young lady working the counter was knowledgeable, kind and funny.
I was sooo happy to find a place where I could get a vegetarian pasty and add a bit of true U.P. cuisine to my trip! The vegetarian pasty, as well as the lemon and raspberry dessert pasties, were delicious, and the service was friendly and fast.
The girls working there were friendly and polite. Food was tasty...an original and a chicken pastie. They also have pretty good fudge, too. If you're looking for one of the UP's signature meals, this is a good place to start.
