The American Legion is a beloved local spot for delicious and reasonably-priced meals. Their Friday fish fry is a must-try, featuring a variety of fresh, locally-caught white fish and lake trout, cooked to perfection. The walleye is a standout, but the perch, haddock, and other options are all excellent as well. In addition to the fantastic fish, the restaurant also serves up fantastic burgers, including a mouthwatering mushroom Swiss burger, as well as homemade onion rings.
