“Awesome beer! I never thought I’d like piss but the Great Unicorn Piss is off the hook good… smooth like an ale up front, but it has the hop finish you would expect from a hazy IPA. Two thumbs up from a Texas beer snob. My biggest regret is that I won’t be able to get this beer once I wander back down south. Any way you could share this recipe with Shiner so they could make it for us down here? I did pickup a couple sixers in Lake Orion, so I will savor every drop of my stash until you get down this way. “This is easily our favorite restaurant in Munising! Came here for a week of outdoor adventure, and this restaurant has been an absolute GEM in regards to quality, friendliness, and flavor. Everything we’ve had out of this kitchen is a HIT, and we came back today to get more of those dang delicious seasoned pretzels. If you only have time to stop at one place (or hell, even if you’re here for days like us), make it the Driftwood. Swing by the brewery next store and they’ll even bring your order to you! So so happy that this place exists. 🥹“

“Absolutely love this campground. Very clean, quiet and proximity to beach and Munising are a plus. There is a dump station! FYI we got swimmers itch here on 9/3 - 9/4 2026 from the bay. Had no idea what it was or what to look out for. We swam exclusively in the bay at campsite along with snails and ducks. Lake Superior was 72. Now we know this trifecta = swimmers itch.“

“We had the French Dip, Cuban, and Traditional Gyro with a side of the Mozzarella Sticks. Everything was hot and absolutely delicious! One of the French Dip sandwiches I’ve had! Very impressed and cannot wait to try more of their extensive menu and pair it with our favorite Silver Spruce beers! HIGHLY Recommend!!!“

“Bit of a hidden gem, decided to stop by on a whim passing through town to grab a quick bite. Amazing outdoor seating area!! Loved the atmosphere and the pulled pork poutine we had was also incredible. Great selection of beers. Will definitely come back for a dinner service in the future!!“
