John was a great server, the steak tataki with orange butter was delicious, the crispy chicken cordon bleu was tender crispy and very tasty. Vaughn the bartender was very good and gave a great history of the resterant. All the staff are very attentive. Staying at the Roam Inn adds an extra advantage with its location close to downtown and water views. Thank you to Amy, Maddie and Sully for trying to solve our cable tv issues.
I have a mixed review of our meal at Tracy’s. The staff members were all friendly and professional and the environment was quaint. My husband and I enjoyed our small plates (fried cheese curds and a berry salad) but did not enjoy everything about our entrees. The portion of the fried fish was small and although I loved the sauce, the wagyu steak was not very tender. My gin and tonic was served in a small glass full of ice so I had to take tiny sips to make it last through...
We really enjoyed the food at Tracey's. Thankfully it is a far cry from the traditional burger and fries or fish and chips. Our family had their shrimp, ahi tuna, bison meatballs and waygu sirloin. All delicious! We also had their cheese curds. We enjoyed these but they were a but spicy. If you are in Munising this place is worth a stop.
