We stopped for lunch on the way to Michigan's Adventure and our experience was so good all around that we turned it into into a trifecta (great word for it, Jeanette) day. We came back after Michigan's Adventure on our way home and grabbed dinner and dessert. The service was great (a couple of the girls helped me verify allergen ingredients as well), everything tasted great, and the prices are very reasonable. These are the items we recommend (so far) from our trifecta...
We’ve been coming here for years and have loved the coney dogs - best chili sauce and love the shreddies. But this year we’ve been disappointed - 3 visits now have had soggy, undercooked fries, the coney dogs seem different - same great chili, but the hotdogs are barely cooked, like they’ve gone through the dishwasher, and the buns are soggy. Onion rings are great and ice cream is the best!
This is my favorite ice cream place. The employees are great, and they work fast! A small ice cream cone here is bigger than most medium cones anywhere else, and it tastes better too!
