I love the hook and ladder, which is what I normally get. I gave them 4 stars because the last few visits, the sub either had a ridiculous amount of condiments on it, or it had spicy mustard.

It was my first visit to a Firehouse Sub shop. I had a club type sandwich (Hero, I think they called it). The sandwich was generous, tasty, and prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Their prices seem a tad higher than S_bway. But the meat does seem to be a bit higher quality.The only complaints I had was that it was extremely hard to eat this thing without it falling apart. You need a plate under it, and lots of napkins after using your fingers to try to repeatedly reassemble...

Some of the employees have been consistently unfriendly and unapproachable as if they can't be bothered. Others have been friendly and curious. Either way the food is almost always amazing.
