I would have never thought of eating a hotdog could be such a gourmet experience until I found this place. The food is so good you literally cant stop yourself from eating AND its conveniently located right on Lakeshore Drive so you are just a few minutes from the beach- perfect for lunches during the summer. I would not really consider this place as dine-in, as I mainly order, chat with locals, and then drive to the beach to eat, but dine-in is available.

Lakeshore cheesesteak with onion rings were a great first choice. The beer cheese on the cheesesteak elevated the taste. Detroit sodas are in the fountain drink area, and old soul music like music is played. Customer service was great! Come check em out!!

My husband and I are from Chicagoland and were craving an Italian beef and Chicago dog. We both got a Chicago dog and half of an Italian beef with hot peppers. Absolutely delicious!!!! The fries were made fresh, hot and crispy, not soggy or oily at all and the beer cheese was delicious. The Chicago dog was top tier. The owner was SO kind and asked if we were military or first responders. My husband is in the military and was given a discount. 10/10 place!! Can’t wait...
