The awesome manager still got my order going 10 minutes before closing, opened my Jaritos pop and gave me a little bag of chips because she recognized my state of hunger! So friendly and helpful! And of course my burrito was delicious! Thank you!!“

“Came through late at night after a long drive up through the U.P. Nothing special going on, just needed something quick before finishing the last stretch home.

It took about 3 minutes of waiting to get my order taken, and i went with the #3 combo (crunchy taco, chicken quesadilla, baja blast). It is a pretty standard order, which is usually the best way to judge a Taco Bell since there is nothing for them to hide behind.

Order was taken correctly the first time and the only issue came was when i was waiting for the food, and if you look at the other reviews, the place is definitely not known for fast service. I've never had an issue with missing order items, however.

Food was hot and packed normally.

The Crunchy Taco was intact, which is not always guaranteed depending on how busy a place is. Shell had a proper crunch and did not fall apart immediately. Filling was evenly spread, not dumped all to one side, so it ate cleanly.

The Chicken Quesadilla was the strongest part of the order. It was properly toasted on the outside and still soft inside. Cheese was fully melted, and the chicken was spread out evenly instead of being clumped or dry in spots. It was assembled better than what you usually get at higher-traffic suburban locations where it feels rushed.

The Baja Blast was cold and carbonated normally. No flat taste, no weak mix, just standard and consistent.

Overall, it is what you want from a Taco Bell stop in a smaller town off a main highway. Not overworked, not sloppy, just steady execution of a very simple order. I have had the same combo in places where it feels rushed and inconsistent, and this was noticeably cleaner than that.

Nothing to complain about, nothing memorable in a very bad way, and nothing that felt off. It did its job, which is really all it needs to do.“
