The Stray Dog Bar & Grill Reviews
0/10 do not recommend, horrible service and even worse management. Don’t waste your time or money!
The place is nice and the food is good but watch out for the gear shop, why is there 7 employees just for one small shop? We walked in and didn’t get greeted, they just looked at us meanly and when we got checked out we didn’t get a “ have a good day “ back… what are yall just getting paid to chit chat? Hustle, greet me, maybe a smile? I came out the city because I wanted to come to the stray dog I’ve heard about it before, so I come and y’all just look at me? Hopefully...read full review
As someone who has to be gluten free due to medical reasons, it can be very frustrating and difficult going out to eat. The staff at The Stray Dog went above and beyond to make sure the food was safe for me to eat. Stellar service, food & drinks were good. My friend and I will definitely return next time we are in the area!

The Stray Dog Bar & Grill, situated near the beach, offers stunning harbor views and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere that attracts crowds. Despite potential wait times, the experience is rewarding. The Grilled Shrimp Tacos exemplify the fresh and flavorful cuisine, with perfectly cooked shrimp in warm tortillas topped with creamy avocado and zesty pico de gallo. The citrus slaw adds a vibrant crunch, balancing the rich flavors. The restaurant not only serves great food and drinks but also provides speedy service. Customers praise the juiciest cheeseburger and the fantastic service, with the barstaff being amazing. The beachy vibe, adorned with dog photos and cute merchandise, enhances the overall experience at The Stray Dog Bar & Grill. Vegetarian options are available, and the menu and space are described as cozy and kid-friendly. Cheese curds were excellent—crispy on the outside, piping hot and gooey on the inside. The Cubano sandwich was packed with juicy shredded pork, rich ham, melted cheese, and topped with pickles and mustard, with the bread toasted perfectly. Onion rings were clearly hand-battered and freshly fried. Drinks were unique. The food is awesome, but for the price, a side should be included.
